ahh... I need to add better hints. Go into a barrack marked as Rest - theres an option to Rest / Sleep. Same for all bases.

Nice update. Just nitpicking, rescued heli crew disappear from rescue heli few meters before landing touchdown at Olympus. Flashlight command causes all memebers to comply, even ones in waiting state at Olympus. Both not biggies and just looks odd.

Finally found beds for rest :)

Oh, man. I spent hours working my way through the mission and now this update is going to make me restart from scratch...and I don't even mind! :)

I see you have the mission on Armaholic...but the download link still refers to the Steam page. You may want to upload a copy of it to Armaholic using their public FTP although you'll need to upload a version without spaces in the file name. Just check the "Having a Mod/Addon/Script/Mission hosted at Armaholic.com" section in the FAQ here [http://www.armaholic.com/plug.php?e=faq&cid=1]. All the folks who hate Steam (myself included) will thank you! If you offer a download that doesn't point to the Steam page, be sure to update the text of the Armaholic page to let people know they can now get it without Steam.

And if you're wondering why it's a good idea to *not* use Steam for hosting, I suggest you have another look at section 6A of the Steam Subscriber Agreement: [http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/]. Seriously, I appreciate the way Steam makes updating a mission easy but...ugh.

Also, one thing you may have fixed in the latest version...I accidentally ran over one of the guards at one of the FOBs. Accelerated time + driving = mayhem. Anyhow, I earned a skill point for that and somehow I don't think it's what you intended. ;) Perhaps the killsCounter.sqf] script could be updated to check to see the deceased's side/type. Any kills other than EAST and isKindOf Man should be either zero or negative points, imo. Just a thought.

Finally, thank you once again! This really is a fun mission and you've done a really nice job on it!

Btw when I put some teammates to sleep I can't find some of them the next day. I know you have to be within 20 m to join group but I can't find them..missing 2. Do they move to another base sometimes?

Hi, It looks like you need more Intel to find out where he's hiding. I couldn't tell you this anyway, because in each game he can be in different place ;) Hope you can find him.

I had that problem, too. It turned out the team got in one of the vehicles at an FOB and I didn't realize it. One thing you can do is hit the ESC key to pause the game and then use something like this...

hint format["player at [%1, %2] but unit #2 at [%1, %2]", (getPos player) select 0, (getPos player) select 1, (getPos s02) select 0, (getPos s02) select 1];

....in the command window (press Local Exec button after pasting that command in the window) to get map coordinates of the player and a unit. In this case "s02" refers to the 2nd of all possible team members (i.e., Vega)...not necessarily the current 2nd unit in your squad. You may need to tweak the code to get the particular unit(s) you're seeking. Also, the positions are [X.Y] format...so X is along the East-West axis and Y is along a North-South axis.

I plan to upload a version for armaholic as soon as i know, no serious issues are present. It's really easier to patch the mission via Workshop. Hopefully I will upload the file soon.

Zonker3210 is right about the operators names: s01 (Barnes), S02 (Vega), S03 (O'Connor) etc. just like on the list. So you can find them easily with the local exec help, or just make them get back by typing:

S02 setPos (getPos player)

to teleport Vega to your position etc.

Is it mistake or you changed equipment list? I am looking for NVG optics, laserdesignator and .45 cal pistol.

NVG optics are not present at the start (theres an explanation in the task list). Laser designator should be present, the .45 cal pistol is probably missing, but I wanted to have some limited resources for the mission.

Laser Designator isn´t there and also batteries for designator (maybe you think rangefinder). I used designator like a marker for gunship heli - it was more effective :-) I am at day 3, I have NVG, but NV optics (for gun) is missing at equipment list.

Hi, I seem to be having a problem with re-entering the main airfield. Having spent 3 days outside the base, the game crashes when the heli reaches the base after calling for "Pick-up and RTB".... Driving back doesn't seem to prevent crashes either...

I have problem with helis and some AI at main base. In one moment AAF soldiers and helis at airbase get freezed. Heli (Night Hawk) is staying 100 meters from heliport and 30 meters above terrain and don´t respond to orders. And AAF soldiers are like a statue :-) Freezed on patrol :-)

I had both of these same issues. I managed to fix the helicopter bug by ordering a squad member to board the chopper as it was hovering, which forced it to land and then it began responding to transport commands once again. But as far as the frozen patrols...nothing...they stayed like that the whole time, probably ever since Day 3-4.

Just completed the mission tonight, and it was an excellent experience. Truly one of my favorite Singleplayer missions I've played in a long time. Also was very amazed the whole thing worked out so well, no serious issues or bugs to be reported. Top-notch work, and best of luck in the MANW contest. :cool:

Total Losses - 3 (Lost 2 Pilots when CAS helicopter crashed and were killed in a gunfight shortly afterwards. Lost 'Snake' in an 8-man mission to escort the president.)

Main Objective - Both CIA agents were recovered and Messiah killed.

I´ve finally managed to play Hunter Six properly (discovered that the bug that prevented me from reloading saved games was caused by GPV-18NVG addon...), and I´m having a blast, but I´m kinda stuck right now! Managed to Kill the messiah and recover one of the agents, but I´ve inquired all blue circles with suspects and haven´t spotted the second agent captivity... do I have to way more days, or kill every single insurgent? I have 3 eliminate AA position tasks incomplete (I´ve wiped out the .50 crew, dissasembled the guns but that task doesn´t completes) and can´t find the suspect on Panochori which I need to arrest, does those unfinished tasks are FUBARing my mission? I´m on day 18, lost 1 squad mate (Frost, whose I´ve chatted a lot, felt for him...), got 648 reputation (I´ve searched too many houses and abused on interrogation, gotta have pissed of the civies lol), 3581 of Intel points, lotsa arrested dudes and 153 insurgents KIA...

What else do I need to do to find the last agent? Sweep inch by inch of te red circle of the AO???

You don't have to complete each task to find the hostages, but You probably have not enough Intel yet. To complete the AA missions you need to destroy the guns with a charge or just shooting few bursts at it, but you don't need to complete this task to find the hostage. The only thing you need is more intel. So killing more enemies and searching their bodies, with higher REP you can use the special interrogation option to get much more Intel. If you find the proper guy to arrest, he will provide you some serious Intel amount on the next day after interrogation. Hope that helps a bit :)

EDIT: another way is to fly with chopper around the map (but you have to be present on board) and scan some housing areas outside AO. There's a chance you will spot some rebels near a house and it might be the hostage location. They are present on the map from the very begging, so theres always a chance to find the hostage on day 1 by accident ;)

Ok, just had my first proper play through of this on stable (was using dev but that means you can't pick up a savegame without an error, bit of an issue). OH MY GOD THAT WAS COOL! I wasn't even doing particularly dangerous or exciting stuff, but after delivering some humanitarian aid to a location (about 12 at night) the tension racked up a bit. On the way in I had seen several patrols but decided against fighting them. Therefore when I left the aid drop I was being quite cautious, as I come down this road a team mate calls out a technical 75m ahead, and damn my heart leaped into my throat. I decide the best course of action is to floor it back to the aid drop site and go from there. Torn between abandoning the truck and getting a chopper extract and getting the truck out of there (at this point feeling truly trapped) I decide to do a little recon, grabbing an RPG-42 I captured earlier. I sneak back towards the main road with one of my guys, fortunately I have a rangefinder with night vision on it. I spot the front of the offroad (the rest is hidden by a bush), it's not 10 feet from where I pulled up in my truck when my team mate called it out. I wonder why it wasn't shooting, I slowly edge around on my stomach until I can see the rest of it, and it's empty! After another poke around the area I decide it's safe and so take my truck and team the long way round, back to SPARTAN and then home on the UH-80. But before I left I stuck an anti-tank mine we had defused earlier in the day under the front wheels of the truck, if anyone tries to move that they might be in for a shock!

One piece of feedback I might give is to remove the kill messages "Barnes gained 1 skill point" etc. Since that automatically tells you whether or not you've got a kill, while one of the exciting things about ARMA is you're rarely sure whether you killed that guy or he's just behind that rock.

Also thanks for the tip with the messages. It might be a bit frustrating when you know how skill up works, but I think it's a valuable information at start, so everyone knows, each kill equals gaining a skill point.

Lato nice job on this mission. First I did record my experience as soon as I edit and render the videos I'll post a link here for you to check out if you like.

I do have a couple of issues/questions if you don't mind. One issue I have is when talking with one of your squad members. While I was speaking with one squad member we came under attack and couldn't do anything until the conversation ended. Granted there was nothing I could actually do anyways because it was an attack chopper hitting us but it could have been an enemy squad where I needed to fight back but can't until the conversation ends.

In this instance I'm not sure what happened. I took three squad members with me up to an FOB in the littlebird and as soon as we got dropped off I started receiving messages on crashed heli's. At first I thought the chopper that just dropped us off crashed but seen in the messages it was all of the other choppers back at the main base. . . all of them lol. I immediately grabbed a vehicle and headed back to see what was going on. My arrival was greeted with the sight of twisted burnt metal, billowing smoke and bodies everywhere. . . a moment of silence please. Only two pilots survived this chaos and I also lost Razer which I assume was because he was too close to one of the explosions. I have no idea what happened but I lost all but the littlebird for transport which actually didn't last long, reason in the next section.

After losing all of my air support except for Venom I asked for transport to FOB Apache which they jumped to the request. Once we arrived Venom started to leave but got hung up on a pole, literally. I left the FOB thinking that it would despawn and no problems would be had. Soon afterwards I got another call of a downed heli, yes it was Venom, back at the base at which I had left it. Now it too had succumbed to to the curse that had befallen the operation. Without any air support or transport I felt lost and betrayed. A rage was building and I felt that the people of Altis was the reason. I set out on a mission, a mission to now interrogate all of those I see with extreme force and to make them all pay for what had happened. Needless to say this didn't last long lol.

I really don't know what happened to all of those choppers back at base. Is there a way to quickly get through the conversations with squad members if something is happening? I plan on going back through this and hope to do better next time. This was the 4th or 5th time I tried to get through this while recording and this was the farthest I got. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to try it again. Like I said once I edit and render the videos I'll post a link here if anyone wants to check them out. It'll be a while I have alot of video to go through but if you want to check any of my videos out just do a search on youtube for GerhartRTFO, that is my user name on there and channel name.
