Target boxes are only visible in driver position. How to see target boxes as gunner?

When in a vehicle, I can see a box over potential targets when I am driver. However, I cannot see these target boxes when I am gunner or commander. This is counterintuitive. The driver doesn't need to see targets, the gunner and commander does. How can I fix this? I am willing to mod the vehicle configs if necessary.

edit: This has to do with showAllTargets in the vehicle config. It must be specified for every crew position.
