Glad you like the optics but our Osom sights will stay a part of our Osom weapons pack along with our showcase and firing range. :bye:

it doesn't work with ctrl+rmb to change states - need to press ctrl+num/ (is it MRT?).

The CBA keybinding system doesn't support binding to mouse buttons. I think they mentioned why that is in the CBA thread at some point, but it's basically a scripting limitation that the game has.

Is it just me or are these weapons to strong compared to ArmA 3 vanilla weapons? The 5.56 from this pack seems even more powerfull than the 6.5 rifles.

Otherwise great work.

When they use the spartan values the same like in real or trying to be because of the bad body armor system in arma.

M855A1-enhanced performance rounds

Mk262-precision and long range round ( i think 600-700m it can be deadly)

mk318 0 Mod SOST- for higher penetreation and more stopping power

Thats an short overview when you want more details google it ;).

As for the 5.56mm ammunition, realistically if the target is wearing body armor you would want to use the M855A1 to punch the armor more effectively however ArmA III depicts body armor as a flat damage negation with no material penetration, its quite rudimentary to say the least.

basically in ArmA III this is how it works....

Hollow Points are king in CQC/MR, they generate more damage per shot which causes more damage.

Penetrative rounds are king for, well..... penetration, if targets are behind cover or you are shooting at light armored vehicles they are the go to round.

Hybrid rounds like the SOST are the best general purpose round as they give decent penetration with good damage across a wide range of distances.

The default 5.56x45mm rounds are a freaking joke, and the default 6.5 Grendel is not even on par, in fact I wonder why the hell they decided to use 6.5 Grendel over 6.8 SPC. The freaking necking on the 6.5 Grendel would cause so many feeding issues its not even worth considering for use in automatic mil-spec rifles. My 5.56x45mm values are much more realistic as far as the default engine will allow, which I have to say is not too terribly bad.

@Spartan thanks for posting this should help to clarify for people.

@Darkside hey mate that WIP pic is not a good representation of what we will deliver. The ACR will be the standard magpul rifle and we will try to do other variations of the ACR . I will keep you all up to date as soon as we got something polished to show you.

hey everyone

progress is good so far on v2 weapons.

But we have some exciting news that iansky will be working with us on the mod to update and add some amazing new content as well as replacing our elcan specter dr.

We will separate the weapons mod and make this a stand alone optics mod that includes all our new eotech optics and our vortex optics we have.

It will be quite an extensive list of available optics. We will try to replicate the full functionality of each optic as we have already with our recent work.

We will keep you updated on how everything goes.

Thanks

woot!

Just an update, I spoke with BlazenChamber last night about thew ACR project, the weapon is being changed from the Magpul ACR which was the Masada to the Remington Defense ACR which was the entry weapon to the US Army's adaptive carbine program. He told me last night many changes will be needed, he did not specify to me if he will be including all 3 barrel lengths that are currently available from the Remington Defense 2014 Catalog or if he is even going to make it available in all 3 calibers. What I am posting below is the REAL SPECS from the Remington ACR according to the data which I have researched and yes its all publicly available, this is NOT a representation of SMA's rendition at the time of this posting.

2014 Remington Defense ACR

Designed by Magpul Industries

Manufactured by Remington Defense

Accepts both STANAG and Magpul magazines

Ambidextrous Safety and bolt catch

CLOSED BOLT SYSTEM

Left side charging handle (non-reciprocating)

Heavy Chrome Hammer Forged Barrel

Barrel lengths of 10.5, 14.5, and 16.5 (SBR, CAR, AR)

Compatible with 5.56x45mm NATO, .300 AAC Blackout (Using NOVESKE CHF LRLP barrel), and 6.8x43mm SPC

Rate of twist for 5.56x45mm NATO and .300 Blackout is 1:7 RH (This includes the NOVESKE CHF LRLP Barrel)

Rate of twist for 6.8x43mm SPC is 1:11 RH

Short Stroke Gas Piston System with buffering to reduce barrel harmonics

Adjustable Gas System allows for rates of fire between 700 - 800 rounds per minute

Uses an AAC Blackout 51T Flash Hider as standard

Averaged accuracy rating between most high performance rounds is 1.5 MOA (website claims SUB 2 MOA, this is ammunition dependent)

Recommended suppressor for 5.56x45mm NATO is the AAC M4-2000

Recommended suppressor for 7.62x35mm Blackout is the AAC 762-SDN-6

Recommended suppressor for 6.8x43mm SPC is the AAC M4-2000 (yes this fits/works even though its a 5.56x45mm NATO suppressor), in fact Remington's ACRSD is made by AAC and its an M4-2000 clone.

Hey mate.

Yea so we are probably going to do all of the above.

It will be the remington ACR but will have different options and variants to choose from including different calibers and (SBR, CAR, AR).

Thanks for your great work, guys!

Any new WiP pics of the MM 23 EK?

Aye would love to see some new stuff on that one

Few question to the MM23 EK

Will it be compatible with AGM - especially the barrel-change option?

Are the "mags" compatible with the ones of your HK416 (assuming that you use the 5.56×45mm NATO ver. of the MM23)?

That leads to the last question: which rounds capacity are you planing?

Maybe ill look into it when we are getting this one in game.

I was going to do the box mag on this . might be able to do the same mags as the HK not 100% sure just yet.
