Any plans of an official benchmark BIS?

Recommended Posts

I wonder if BI plans any official benchmark for the game. Arma 2 had a game benchmark and I wonder why we have to wait so long for this in Arma 3. Is there any specific reason benchmark isn't included yet?

They had one or two in Arma 2. Would make sense if they made one, but that's by no means a priority at the moment. I'd like to see something like this maybe next year or so.

I think a benchmark was far important than the latest update.

People having issues and comparing improvement from patch to patch. But hey that's just me

Well there are many ways you can manually benchmark the game for yourself. Remember, Editor is your best friend. Also, playing the campaign is an even better way.

Yes , I know but it would be best if we all used something in common to benchmark performance. After every update for instance everyone could write his results and we can compare.

It's not only for me but for the whole community , at least people that I know would appreciate this.

Two kinds of benchmark would be welcome. One with and one without AI.

What's wrong with the community benchmark missions already released?

They are not recognised as good benchmarks by the BIS devs.

I should know one is mine :)
