--- Description ---

This mission is intended to be used as a dynamic outdoor shooting range.

You control the mission by using the action menu.

Enable or disable bullet path tracing, spawn new targets or check your last bullet impact.

Teleport to any location by left clicking on the map while holding ALT on your keyboard.

--- Features ---

* Detailed statistics (Bullet velocity at impact, Distance to impact, Score, Accuracy)

* Bullet path tracing

* Bullet camera

* Impact camera

* Randomly positioned targets

* Steel targets (stationary or moving, popup or fixed)

* Human targets (stationary or patrolling)

* Tank targets

* (not required, but highly recommended): A3MP or AiA TP

this is AWESOME!

have been thinking about doing exactly this, specifically for Altis. i've only written/created an Insurgency so far, so scripted targets are a bit out of my league. but yours is way better than anything i can do. thank you sir!

This is hands down the greatest shooting range ever :) it's the only mission i like on this game...

Would you mind adding some afghanistan maps like Clafghan and Hazar Kot? i'd also love to see winter maps like Thirsk and Alpine (Aoraki)...

please, that'd be wicked cool ;)

i need the 360° Training Course v1.2 (which features the Steel Plate target and the truck with the .50 BMG)

Would you kindly re-upload the v1.2?

I just downloaded the 1.2 version from the Armaholic link in first post. It includes Altis, Stratis, and a few others.

Unfortunately the Armaholic's only includes Altis, Stratis, Chernarus, Takistan, & Zargabad :(

i need Clafghan, Thirsk, Hazar Kot, Reshmaan, etc....

Hello,

Thanks for this usefull training mission !

Is there a way to add flying ennemy helico ?

I added this:

player addaction [("<t color=""#559999"">" + "Add Helico Target" + "</t>"), "fnc_create_target.sqf", ["O_Heli_Light_02_F", true, false], 0, false, false];

but the helico is empty (and so on the ground).

Hi, Ruthberg.

 

Your training course looks superb, but I'm simply unable to make it work. I copied the files to the MPMissions folder, but I don't know what else to do. I've tried to open a map (Altis) in editor, and it looks like teletransporting in map using alt key works, but nothing appears in action menu. Could you please help me? Thanks a lot.

Great training tool, thank you for making this!

 

I'd like to tune it a bit though, with a permanent 1000 meter range, but still with your target markers.

Is there a way to accomplish that, for a scripting illiterate like me?

Sorry to be a pain but how do I add this to certain soldiers?
I'd like to use it to show my friends how to use sniper rifles properly, but I can't add it to anyone.

I'm new to scripting and haven't found any info on what I need.

Hello Ruthberg,

i don't know if you are around but, after the 1.62 update, just to advise that

the yellow dot disappears from the target, on the 360 degree training course, at 1280 meter and more.

But the dot is visible when i select "check impact".

Could you take a look, please ?

Hey!

 

First of all, your scenario is awesome. One thing that would be awesome to get adjusted though would be movement speed of the moving pop up targets to match the speed of a walking/running/sprinting AI/Player. That is extremely important to make training improvements possible. 

 

Also the Bullet track looks kinda wierd.
