Ragdoll'd

Recommended Posts

Zooloo, i put the pbo in addons, and i have cba updated.

However when using this mod targets only flinch when shot at.

Did test as you said with shooting them once in the leg and they dont fall over.

However when i grenada them, they do exhibit good ragdoll.

Any ideas?

P.s thanks in advance know your busy with not just this mod;)

Great mod. It really feels better with every new version!

After having tested 1.3 a bit I suspect that there is still a phase when units are ragdolling or when they have been knocked to the ground, during which they are invulnerable to additional hits.

I'm not 100% sure though...

Another issue seems to be, that the impulse units receive by explosions is a bit too weak now. 40mm can no longer let them fly...

(And yes, I know that's Hollywood, but then, a bit of eye candy every now and then...)

Edit: No, unfortunately that seems to be a dev branch change...

just a heads up Zooloo , i Have already tested your mod with different pos commands... I replaced "position" with "getPosATL". Still had the issue. Changed "setPos" to "setPosATL" no change. above 50 meters something is a muck..

Also, testing above 50m I stand close to the AI im shooting, and I get knocked down... but the AI dont. Its very wierd

Update released: Possible bug fix - Units didn't ragdoll above certain altitude.

Fun to fly around like this.

so it would seem that the force needed to knock someone down is directly related to their altitude... if at sea level a mutiple of 4 knocks them down but above 50-60meters it doesnt, where a mutiple of 6 will above 50-60meters... I wonder if this is a game glitch or by design??

Hi zooloo,

I gave your version 1.4 a spin and here is a short demo of the testing

There were 4 no ragdoll moments there out of unrecalled number of times I've shot the targets. In general, I like it that it ragdolls at this elevated part of the map (compared to Test 1 on Agios Ioannis). Thanks for the update! :)

I don't have a video of it but in Agios Cephas though, the targets never ragdoll'd at all. Weird stuff.

Indeed. Fantastic even. Now that your all buttered up any chance you'd ever consider doing a gib mod? I know you gotta full plate but you gotta ask the magician while he's still got his bag of tricks open

Another video. This time, I'm just an audience while I let the AIs do the shooting :)

Is there any way to make them fly less? That's the only thing stopping me from downloading this. I'm seriously tired of the AI doing breakdance moves with every hit.
