Dobson 11 Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) [/img]Basic Info Arma 2 Server with ACRE and ACE - 81.19.216.140:2300DayZ SA Server - Naval Special WarfareTeamspeak 3 Website (Basic for now, still under editing) - http://2nd-ranger-battalion.enjin.com/InformationThe 2nd Ranger Battalion [2nd.R] is a realism unit currently based in Arma 2, as a realism unit we strive to perform Arma 2 in a realistic environment using military tactics and equipment to simulate modern combat situations. The 2nd Ranger unit has a verity of military, ex-military and Milsim experienced people who bring there knowledge into the game, we use this knowledge to train, succeed and overcome any situation the 2nd.R is involved in. As a ranger unit we use a verity of weapons, vehicles and general equipment in-game we also have a smaller team who take part as an S.F. role that of SEAL's. The S.F. team's all consist of ex or current military experienced people. There role is to provide recon, intelligence and engage the enemy if needed. As a side role they are all qualified instructors who will help train our troops in the Ranger school we provide (Training). About the StaffI myself have quite an extensive background both real life and game, I started out in cadets at the young age of 13, I did it for 7 years coming out on my 20th birthday. In that time I earned many achievements, rank and qualifications. I then decided after work experience and my time in civilian life it was about time I followed my dream of becoming a Royal Marine, I went through a year long application process and joined a troop on the 17th of June last year. Sadly after being there 17 weeks over half way through I took injury and was left with two choices, to leave or crack on. I chose to leave and go to university to which the corps is providing some financial aid. Upon completing my third year I will be back into training and back down to CTC. E8. Eadaif - I can't speak for Eadaif but he is retired USAF and Army, he has tours under his belt and his knowledge is brilliant. A great and invaluable member to the S.F. Branch. E6. Shaun - Again I cannot speak for Shaun however he was that of the 82nd AB, again he has brilliant experience and is a brilliant member of our SF Branch. Capt. Yeo - I have played in Milsim units many times with Yeo, he has experience with the 6th AB in Arma 2 and 42Cdo in RSRO2. He has also done service for his armed forces in Denmark and his knowledge in both real life situations and game/pc knowledge is vast.
