x3kj 1247 Posted June 8, 2014 I want to use splendid Cam to take a look at my weapon models ingame. The problem/annoying thing is that it applies a blur filter to close objects (no matter what apperture setting i use) so i only see a blurry mess. How do i get rid of this annoying "eyecandy":j: effect ? (Apperture set to 0.5m) Or is there a better solution for a free floating camera?
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted June 8, 2014 Use the 'Focus' slider, not aperture. The max setting on the Focus slider disables DOF blur, but you may find a nice setting mid way through where the focus is on your weapon and the background is nicely blurred. You can also turn Depth of Field post-processing effect off in the graphics setting (under AA & PP) while you take some screenshots and put it back on if you want. I find that focus/DOF bar works better if you move the camera further back; a meter or two from the object, and zoom in to make the object larger, rather than position the camera near to the object you're shooting. x3kj 1247 Posted June 8, 2014 Ah ok thanks...didnt know moving focus all the way back disabled it. That does the trick. not sure why i wrote apperture, i meant focus of course.
