setman 12 Posted May 23, 2014 Have a issue that came up awhile ago. I run some Arma3 servers and when I put in -ip=00.000.000.00 in the command line, the server runs, but when you go to the server list and click on it, it will come up connecting failed. You have to go to the remote and type in the ip address and then it will connect. Right now I have it running on the main ip address along with Team Speak and another Arma3 server. It use to work till about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Any ideas?
hades198 10 Posted May 25, 2014 I'm not quite sure how it could have happened, but there may be a possibility of a particular port being prevented access, my guess is that it may be 2303, but it would be wise to check all your ports.

hades198 10 Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) Do you know of any significant changes regarding the dedicated server. If you are renting, have you notified the hosting company and can/have they provide/d any info on changes to their servers. Also what caused the need to add " -ip=00.000.000.00"? Is it only you who has trouble connecting through the server list? You aren't running one of your other Arma 3 servers on the same IP and port as another, right? Have your firewall settings changed at all? Also could you please shoot through your server cfg files? I'll do my best with this, but you may have to wait for somebody more experienced to come along since im more of a medic than a doctor. EDIT: you probably want to get this thread moved to servers and administration or start a new thread there EDIT ... again: are you running a microsoft or linux?
