pearce 0 Posted July 16, 2002 The new island is really cool, loads of viariation and better detail, theres loads of ground cover so firefights can go on longer and be more intense. I thought the campaign started well but ended badly and the scavenging weaponry bit became pointless as the computer seemed to give soldiers as much ammunition as they could carry irrespective of its availabilty in my inventory. I stopped collecting after 'scrap' and still had mountains of ammo by 'firefight.' The new units are a nice change, i especially liked the police even though i haven't figured out what to do with them yet. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
shadow 6 Posted July 16, 2002 I love the new island, that's why I voted 'everything'. I'm more excited about the new terrain and not that excited about the better graphics due to the low FPS I get even on high-terrain detail and 1200m P-IV 1.8, 512 RIMM and GF4 Ti4600 should be sufficent but it isn't It works fine on the official missions, but the ones I make is not a pretty sight (I use alot more units in my missions) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hostile 1 Posted July 16, 2002 I like that BIS have put some real effort into listening to folks wants and have produced a Addon pack that's not just a cynical way of draining hard working folks cash!. nice one guys, i'd have paid double the price (sort out the handgun tracers if you do nothing else!! VerySolidSnake 0 Posted July 16, 2002 i love everything about the new resistance. I think the coolest new thing though is the pistols, i love pulling those out and capping someone.
