Just a question for textures.

They will be adapted according to the chosen level of texture ?

Because I find that a little bit fuzzy compared with the magnificent textures that you showed us before.

In any case it is the great work! Can't wait the Pelican!

Yes, what you see in Scorch's pictures of the infantry units, they are not at the highest texture level.

Not quite yet, still waiting on some assets to finalize and fix bugs in O2 before release.

The reason for the silence is Halo the Master Chief Collection released lol

You say that in a joking way, but it really is! :)

Especially the remastered Halo 2 campaign will provide a lot of quality references for our future assets.

Two that come to mind are the M247 machine gun and the architecture from Old and New Mombasa for our buildings.

I'll send you a friend request today. I've been remaking Foundation for Halo 2 Anniversary so everyone can enjoy Halo 2's infection mode on the best map for it, I'll let you know when it's finished.

You should definitely put a bunch of random objects lying around so everyone can frantically bash things together and make hasty barricades in the tiny little rooms.

Do you guys have any plans to implement the D96-TCE Albatross dropship? I always thought it looked pretty cool but its only used as a set piece in the games :/

Problem with the Albatross, is that no one really knows how it flies. The landing legs probably are VTOL engines similar to the Pelican. However, it is purely a logistics aircraft. So it would have very limited uses. Too few possibly to be work the effort of including it.

I have a quick question. For the BR55 Battle Rifle and the Assault Rifles, will you guys use the F2000's reload animation or will it be a custom animation?

Problem with the Albatross, is that no one really knows how it flies. The landing legs probably are VTOL engines similar to the Pelican. However, it is purely a logistics aircraft. So it would have very limited uses. Too few possibly to be work the effort of including it.

Judging by the positioning of it's engines, it was likely a VTOL aircraft. 4 engines gave it vertical movement, and one engine on the back pushed it forward, and it would probably tilt around to maneuver. It looks like the doors would open upon landing to load/unload the cargo. However I'm not sure how useful it'll be considering the Pelicans can already move vehicles, and moving weapon crates isn't much help in ArmA since players can't physically pick them up and move them. Not to mention, every Albatross we've seen has been a wreck dug into the ground, so maybe there's a reason we haven't seen them flying much if you know what I mean.

What about the Condor? Not sure what role it would play, but perhaps it's a vehicle the Innies would use as opposed to the more updated Pelicans.

I got that covered. It's a 1:1 replica and has all the goodies from the original map, including the crates for barricading the doors.

Yes, we will use a bullpup animation for the bullpup weapons.

It could, however the Condor is capable of more things than the Pelican and it much more expensive. Thus, it would be more valuable to the Insurrectionists compared to a cheaper and more expendable Pelican like we plan on using.

I believe we made the decision to have light and heavy army variants, the light variant will not have as much armor (leg armor). I'm not sure about heavy marines though, I'm sure Space knows about it.

In other news, I'm currently working on the generator for the orbital defense platform.

If in the future the mod will become compatible with the cosmos engine a space elevator could be actually functional to use.

Compatibility with Cosmos Engine is unsure at this point. But even if it were, an orbital tether will not work. It is simply too large for Arma to handle even as a static object.
