Thank You IndeedPete for this awesome campaign and plentyful updates containing popular addon support!!! Could you please support Tryk's gear modifications addon? Contained within are alot of really cool items that would fit in very well with the theme of this storyline.

I was actually thinking abaut it (making modded config) but at that time Tryk s Uniform and gear mod contained lots of bugs and I ve decided to wait until TRYK releases more stable version of his mod. But it can be done.

@IndeedPete: While starting to play 1.01 version of the campaign (addon variant) I ve encountered strange bug. In the first segment of "HOME SWEET HOME" the "Toilet guy" wasn t sitting in the toilet but outside the toilet on the ground. Unfortunately I didn t have time to replay the mission in order to try reproduce the bug or check the mission in editor.

@Bolo861: Thanks for the heads-up, noticed some issues myself and excluded clothes, personnel and vehicles because I wasn't able to properly filter them.

@robowilso: Thanks, I'll see what I can do. The next update might take a while though, other projects and RL stuff are piling up here! ;)

OK, I restarted the mission and Toilet Guy appeared where he was suppose to be, in editor everything looks good to me either, so no bug or I don t know what it was.

It's just the ambient anim function. Sometiems it works, sometimes it shows some quirks in the positioning. Nothing to worry about and nothing worth to waste time with.^^

I get shot as soon as i get off the boat in intro. I get shot no matter what option i choose.

Works fine for me on 1.40 stable, both in Addon and Campaign PBO version. Again, are you on DevBranch?

Okay, try reverting the mission then. If all else fails, try a clean start without mods. (Weapon packs don't have any influence on the intro mission anyway.)

Good day, chaps!

With the MANW Contest being over today I'd like to shout out a last "thank you" to all voters, supporters, testers, players and other people involved in this project. It's been a long way and of course I feel a tiny bit of sadness that M.E.R.C.S. didn't make the top three. But looking at the competition I must say it's no surprise. Some splendid projects have been awarded today for good reasons. Congrats to all winners and participants! But don't forget the majority of great concepts and projects out there that also didn't make it to the podium!

Be assured that I'll continue work as usual. M.E.R.C.S. should receive at least updated shop configs with the rollout of Marksmen. And I've got more in the pipe with Contention Zone and a yet unannounced project. I can hopefully share some details in the coming months and maybe even publish one or two releases this year. ;)

Stay tuned out there!

I´m counting on it, InddedPete! I´m happy that MERCS got to the finals, I was hoping to see you on the podium, but I guess at least you got 4th or 5th place (along with SaOk´s WLA)... whenever Contetion Zone is available to playtest, stand by me, yours truly fan!

Thanks, yeah, too bad. I'd love to know my rank at least (they didn't tell us losers). I'll post any news regarding CZ in the respective thread, so watch that place!

I know, we're already negotiating a future cooperation. His presentation skills with a bit more diverse and non-linear gameplay should be a rock solid concept! ;)

Great campaign Pete. Really enjoyed it so far.

I think the "riot Control mission is broken, I have scared off the civis and moved all the vehicles , but nothing happens?

Is it supposed to be an FIA attack or should I talk to someone to end the mission?

When I use the endmission command I just get thrown back out to the campaign menu.

If it doesn't progress the road's not clear. Triggers can only deliver a certain accuracy so be sure to get all vehicles off the street, as far away as possible. Might only be one car that has like one wheel within the trigger area and therefor the mission does not progess. Depending on how you dealt with the civies the FIA might or might not attack with a smaller or a full squad (if you killed somebody). Make sure to eliminate every single one of them, they're sometimes hiding between the houses. Also, they're not allowed to flee but that doesn't mean they won't go funny ways.

I have progressed and been told to defend the road, but no fia turns up. In another playthrough they did, however I ended up failing because I strayed too far from the village in search of enemies and started the renegade mission. In my last playthrough 3 fia attacked the roadblock and the PMCs didn't react, I killed them and no further fia turned up yet my objectives were not fulfilled.

There still must be some FIA around. I just had a testrun and indeed two FIA idiots left the AI even if not allowed to. They're actually scripted to move towards the main road, need to fix this with the next update. For now, pack a lot of smoke grenades. Then throw them at the civies and drive or push the vehicles off the road without killing anybody. No dead or injured people means no FIA to show up. Civillian deaths by fire won't affect your performance.

Another bug I've had is in the first escort mission where you pick up the guy from the airport. When I reach the AAF checkpoint the greenback officer sometimes doesn't trigger conversation. In several separate attempts he either didn't move or walked up to the car and nothing happened.
