This gallery has some good reference photos of just about anything from MV-22s to the early Blackhawks.

Not sure how relevant these are but there you go: UH-60M cockpit

Hopefully it's of some help, I'm absolutely ignorant regarding the finer differences.

I think it's the other way around Wacko.

At least that's what I can gather from the pictures.

EDIT: I stand corrected. The MH-47 and the MH-60M share direct commonality in cockpit layouts and systems, both possessing CAAS.

Nope their right.. The "M" and "L" are being upgraded to the new (CAAS) Common Avionics Architecture System. The system you commonly see in the MH47. We do have a few of inside on the "M" heli With the upgrade. that's how we got where we are with the "M" Even the Jay birds have already been upgraded. However we made the decision to go with the older version with the Lima birds.

The little Birds will also have two cockpit layout's featuring the Legacy CMS Cockpit and the newer CAAS Light (CASSL)

The MH47 will have the CAAS system

Thank you WaCkO for clearing that up, I was confused for a moment.

I still have one question: Will the laser detection system be functional or will it be simply aesthetic?

We plan on having all the sensors be functional. If we can't we will try and find a work around for them.

Many thanks for all the quick responses.

Have any thoughts been had about a soft release similar to that of the F/A-18?

I still don't understand the Army's obsession with keys for its aircraft...
