Unable to be Zeus on MP servers

The title says it all; I'm unable to be Zeus when I'm on online servers. The Zeus slot is perfectly available. I choose it, and click OK. What follows next, is that I'm stopped in the middle of the loading and my game freezes completely for eternity. Laying down the game, shows the error message that "Arma3.exe has stopped working". My question is simply: Why? and: How can I fix this?
