we haven't changed *anything*.

 

Units spawned in by Zeus are functional, they will attack as expected. Yesterday we had kuemmel on the server and he didn't find anything either.

 

I will try testing around a bit when I have more time.

Yo Vdauphin!

 

I've just moved latest H&M over to Takistan and noticed that we cant lift some of the vehicles from RHS, both as vehicle and wreak

The Hearts and Minds mission 1.19.8 hotfix is here!

Now H&M requires CBA and ACE3 only. But there is also a RHSUS version!

 

Changelog :

  • Mission.sqm/Param.hpp not changed.
  • FIX: Can't sling load wreck and some RHS vehicles since 1.94 (@Vdauphin).
  • FIX: Enemies don't spawn inside the city radius (@Vdauphin).

Now H&M requires CBA and ACE3 only. But there is also a RHSUS version!

  • FIX: Object spawn in floor while placing them (@Vdauphin).
  • FIX: FOB spawn twice when two players create a FOB (@Vdauphin).
  • FIX: Static mg are in gl variable (@Vdauphin).

Yo!

 

I wanna add an extra arsenal box that's mobile or can be droped by chinook during big scale missions.

I've tryed: this addAction["Open Arsenal", {[this, player, true] call ace_arsenal_fnc_openBox}]; but doesn't work.

 

Any clue?

If I help you to learn how to read the wiki and be able to solve problems on your own.
I don't need to spend more time in the future to explain you other things.

 

You are already doing it the right way, you just have one minor mistake in there. In that "this" doesn't exist, you need to get the box object elsewhere. And the addAction wiki page shows you how.

Hey @Vdauphin, still loving and enjoying Hearts and Minds.

 

New issue has manifested though, currently using the latest version. ACE Advanced Throwing is acting like it's disabled, displaying a red hand with a crossed out sign next to it despite it being enabled. Tried the usual disabling of mods and such to narrow this down, but the only place that this isn't working so far is the framework. Any insights?

Arma bug, has been fixed in RC branch already, hotfix will likely be released this week.

I'm pumped for all the new additions, especially the chemical and electronic stuff!

 

Here's one for V and the masses. Is there a way to put the side mission request on a NPC? I'd like to instead have players speak to a NPC, say a ranking officer in the AO, through an add action to receive a side mission.

Sure, here is the code to add interaction: https://github.com/Vdauphin/HeartsAndMinds/blob/master/%3DBTC%3Dco%4030_Hearts_and_Minds.Altis/core/fnc/int/add_actions.sqf#L99-L106

replace `player` by any global variable. The variable should be an object and can be define in mission.sqm (like btc_gear_object is).

Hello,

 

Some of you may heard about ACE 3.13 Medical Rewrite update news. Since H&M deeply depend on ACE3, this update has a big impact (basically, it breaks it). To ensure a continuous support of H&M:

  • An open issue is available since the 30 Dec 2016 (omg) to report all changes and issue related to this ACE3 Medical Rewrite.
  • Also, a dedicated branch has been opened to fix those issue since 17 May 2019.

You can already try this version with the last ACE 3.13 Release to Candidate (RC) and report issue in the dedicated Github issue.

i think need to add in mission virtual or dedicated support air transport ,drop air arsenal,  and support bombing  and artylery only support to Ofiicer slot.it will very usable  i think

I used to add ALiVE to this mission just for that.
Now though I'd suggest using Simplex Support Services, it works great and is pretty lightweight.

Hey there follow Hearts and Minds people! I’m having issues getting the wrecked vehicles to respawn. What I’ve tried is towing the vehicle to the logo marker on the map (green flag) then ace interacting with the logistics red box, selecting repair, dialog box pops up and say “it’s not a wreck”. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Note: the vics where changed to rhs vehicles and map changed to takistan. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
