TheFacistCommie 10 Posted April 2, 2014 I was having some trouble with mods that was making the game unplayable, I hadn't heeded the warnings about using a mod folder for my mods and as such various mods were scattered around the program folder of my hard disc Arma 2, and the program folder for my Steam OA. So instead of going around my entire OA folder cleaning out mods that were potentially causing problems I decided to just uninstall then re-install OA and to remove the mods from my ArmA 2 program folder which had less mods in it. So I re-install OA but it won't link to ArmA 2, and now I can't find the application icon for ArmA 2 anywhere but in the Arma 2 program folder, and when I launch it it runs what looks like a really old alpha version of the ArmA 2 main screen. I no longer have a hard copy of ArmA 2 so re-installing isn't an option. I fear I may have ruined my Arma 2 application, but if anyone has any insight on this situation it would be appreciated. Mirek 158 Posted April 2, 2014 -Uninstal both! -cleanup all your disks -Instal Arma 2 -run arma 2 at least once -instal arma 2 OA -run arma 2 OA at least once it should autodetect arma 2 and combined itself.
