Update New Additions, Cleanup, and Reorganization

Alright guys i know its early for an update as last update was 24th and normally you wont expect one til the

24th or around there again, but i just had some new ideas.

 

Heres what we have:

  • Adjusted quite a number of titles of threads removing redundant words, like for arma3, need help, topic, ect,.
  • Capitalized all threads that were not capitalized
  • Resized AI Threads title to standout more

Relocated the following threads:

Moved from AI Actions, Behavior, & Movement to AI Halo, Parachuting, and Paradrops

  • Help AI survive parachute drop
  • AI parachute, then move to marker

Moved from Skill to spot distance in thread section AI Accuracy, Skill, & Spot distance

  • Modifying spotting distance
  • Ai view distance
  • AI spot distance
  • Adjusting AI skill based on distance with setskill and distance to assignedtarget?
  • Seems the AI's spot distance can see behind terrain, hills
  • Unspottable units

After about 2 months without an update, reason was i was busy, and also needed to build the content to add,

so here is the latest update to the list:

Update - Scripts Page

Organized the Scripts section a bit better, scripts can be found on the 1st post of pg2.

Heres what i did:

  • Increased the font size of each subject.
  • Separated - Garrison, Occupation, Patrol, and Spawning from each other.
  • Re-alphabetized the order based on the new separated subjects.

The idea for this was to reduce scrolling, make subjects more specifically seen, and standout.

If i had the ability to add icons or pictures next to each subject to create association i bet that would speed up the locating process,

it would make the thread less technically formal and more fun and interesting, this might be doable something i need to mess with ;)

Very useful, Gunter, but if you can, please indicate the date of the thread you're referencing.  With all the updates over time of Arma 3, some of the responses given, especially when referencing mods older than the last few updates, will not work anymore.

A good idea, thank you. Most of the threads i add to the list that i report in my updates, those threads are usually 1 week to a month old,

and once in a while i'll find a real old thread i missed and i'll add that.

 

But i will add a date of the thread to the right for example:

AI Shooting accuracy - (2-10-19) for those in Europe that would be February 10th, 2019.

 

So i can add something like that to the right of a thread title and that should give you an idea on how old the thread is.

Whether something works or not keep in mind some response from those helping, or giving code, may also have links, or other things that may help in general.

  My last update is all i have to add to the list, i mean i could also search other places like utube, steam forums, ect,. but then it becomes to much, my list

here is for this forum, and from this forum there is already a ton of useful information in the list, not including, i would like to hope all the scripts

and mods from the community too.

 Next Update i can only guess would be in March, all depends on the community and what Ai threads, scripts, and or mods are released,

you can say my thread here is community driven 😉
