WRP question

Recommended Posts

It has been long time since I last used wrp.So what addons or data files I should extract to be able to use wrp properly?

Good question, I would also really like to know the answer to this. I have read some tutorials on wrp tool, but no info about which .pbo files need to be extracted, and where they need to be placed. A few similar questions like this have been asked in the forum, but unfortunately no replies. Which is a shame as I would really like to build my own desert map.

Aren't pages 4, 5 and 6 of the WrpTool manual what you guys are looking for?

Quote from page 5:

...

Now that we take closer look of the contents of that directory folder which we

configured in WrpTool’s Settings screen, it would look something like the following.

For example our dirs would be e:\bis\Abel, e:\bis\Cain, e:\bis\Data, e:\bis\Data3D,

e:\bis\Eden, e:\bis\O, e:\bis\sebnam_obj, etc what ever p3d’s and textures we

should happen to need in our island.

...

I personally used to just extract all the pbos, except the ones that obviously have no terrain making related content (i.e.: Bizon, BMP2, G36a, Mm-1, trab, etc...).

OK, I see what you mean. I didn't understand it properly at first. Good idea about extracting all pbos, I'm going to do the same. Thanks for the advice.
