Wargame Red Dragon

Recommended Posts

Well you can view DLC units in Armory without buying DLC. It has some very nice units like Leo 2A5NL and AH64 and you can make coalition deck with Germany (which is also one of the strongest nations in game). You can play against DLC units, you just can't make your own deck. So no issues in MP.

That said, 6€ is a bit steep imo but if you are Dutch or fan of, then you might want to pick it up.

In other words. 6€ might not seem much but if they release bunch of such DLC down the line you soon end up paying way more then for the whole game which has well over thousand units, bunch of maps and you know, the game itself.

Wait waht? One of their promises has always been that all DLCs for Red Dragon will be free.....

Way to earn some money with a game that is still broken in a lot of ways, without any fixes on the horizon....

6€ really is steep for a few units.

A preview into Yugoslavia has been posted. It supposed to be released together with Finland.

We are still working on unit models & balance, but we can already get a clear idea of what Yugoslavia will be as a Wargame nation: a highly mechanized fighting force, with powerful tanks and IFV backed up by a wide choice of versatile SAM/SPAAG weapon systems and many indigenous assault aircrafts.
Skyfall

Another of the JNA’s forte is its air defense. After all, not every army can claim to have shot down invisible planes … 😉

Although I really would be interested to play a Yugoslavian faction, and I really loved this series and its gameplay, Eugen is not going to get any more money from me.

The promised before Red Dragon was released that they would not sell DLC for that game.

Then they released it in a poor to average and halfassed state (Ships are still unbalanced and don´t even have engine sounds....). Instead of fixing the game they poured most of their resources into Act of Aggression, wich bombed spectacularly because it sucked, and now they are trying to milk what they have for all that it´s worth. They never bothered to fix the real issues that this game has, and the DLC nations are reported to be a bit OP wich further ruins the already questionable balance this game had.

No thanks.
