Congratulations on being alert, but this fix is still not well tested. May need tweaking. Hopefully everything works fine. :rolleyes:

And it also occurs to new CBA RC1 !

Multiplayer -> New -> SETUP SERVER Host:Internet (but Lan is OK)-> Press OK then Arma freezes.

Lifter v1.0.5, CBA v1.0.0.5 +@cpm -> Good

Lifter v1.0.5, CBA v1.0.1.0 RC1 +@cpm -> Freeze

Update @CBA and reproduced their indications.

There were no problems in hosted server or dedicated server.

Hopefully someone more input data to be sure. Anyway, try disabling mods to clear doubts about incompatibilities ...

I have the new CBA and the newest Lifter - In single player on a mission I created there is no lag. :)

Hi,

i have search this thread but found no answer. So if i have missed something then just tell me please. I got the following issue :

I'm piloting a ghosthawk (or any other heli) with ai on the guns/co-pilot and a mix of ai (under my command) / other players (without ai) in cargo. Now i'm hovering a few meters above ground. The players are fast-roping out of the heli. The AI in cargo are fast-roping out. As far as everything is working fine. But now the gunners and the co-pilot are taking a standing position (within the heli) and as soon as i have landed, they jump out of the heli.

Any idea how to solve this ?

After my research

Curator Presets Mod - @cpm was the cause.

This Mod is scripts set for ZEUS mode, so some scripts of this cause confliction or else.

Is it normal to have a one minute or so freeze at the start of the mission? I thought the hotfix might have been for that but it hasn't made much if any difference to me. Stable A3 in SP mode.

I can confirm that with the latest CBA patch with @rav_lifter activated, my server crashes/freezes when they are both enabled. This is with the latest @CBA version 1.0.1.0 and the latest @rav_lifter 1.0.6.1 patch. Right now on my server, both @CBA and @rav_lifter are the only things activated and the server keeps crashing and restarting, crashing and restarting. Server logs show nothing though.

Now I need to know is ... which made the new version of CBA to affect LIFTER ... :butbut:

For now, we will use the previous version of CBA (until I see how to fix it, or CBA take out a fix to CBA) :rolleyes:

Raven, I accidentally had ALiVE and Task Force Radio activated too when I was debugging. Here are my final results.

Server mods activated:

@CBA 1.0.1.0 + @task_force_radio + @alive + @lifter = Crash

@CBA 1.0.1.0 + @task_force_radio + @lifter = Crash

@CBA 1.0.1.0 + @alive + @lifter = Server started up but hangs on 'Setting' status on default BIS COOP mission, server needs to be restarted

@CBA 1.0.1.0 + @lifter = Server started up but hangs on 'Setting' status on default BIS COOP mission, server needs to be restarted

@CBA 1.0.0.5 + @lifter + ANY OTHER MOD VARIANT = No issues whatsoever

I can not reproduce the problems.

What I have noticed is that I download the latest upgrade of CBA (should be 1.0.1.0) but the list of enabled addons in ArmA 3 shows as v1.06.140320 and the CONFIG.FP of CBA (within the .Pbo) shows as v1.0.6.212. :mad:

Anyway, everything works fine for me.

This version has an delayed start, plus a random increment to lighten the load and a search method and filter modules running it is less invasive.

While I have not experienced problems with the previous version, I noticed this the most agile.

If you can test it in SP, hosted server and dedicated server and spend the feedback will be appreciated.

I have just downloaded the new version VIA PwS. I am playing one of my SP missions. The initial startup was normal. About six seconds later the entire screen froze for a close to 5 seconds.

I ran it a second type by hitting "Restart". It took nine seconds before the pause. The pause lasted for around 4 seconds. I did several other runs and it varied but these numbers were indicative.

My mission has the following assets:

1 x MH 47E

1 x RAH 66

8 x BLUFOR troops - ADF UNCUT

1 x ZSU 39

6 x T100 tanks

24 x CSAT OPFOR

1 x trigger to detect all OPFOR dead.

During testing I was jogging towards the MH 47E but did not other task. IE: I didn't try to get in or start her up.

Oh. Specs: I have an I7 clocked at 4.4ghz with an GTX 780 video card. 16GB RAM and 480GB SSD.

Yes. Using PwS. Patch 2s behaviour us different. It used to freeze as soon as the mission finished loading instead of waiting 6 seconds or so.

After much coffee and almost no eyelashes, came a new fix. :rolleyes:

LIFTER fix #3 v1.06

The next step would be to program in binary code. (haha)
