Well, getting drilled is one thing, but running around fully equipped in a conflict zone with a rifle is another thing.

Do you know if that is in a conflict zone? One day when I was in Croatia during the war I dressed up in military camo stuff and walked around the house with a pistol and an AK (without ammo of course), I was younger than that guy. Young boys like to play with stuff like that and so I borrowed it from my uncles who were back home for a short vacation :D

I posted it before, but the OSCE report of May 28th:

In Petrivske (“DPRâ€-controlled, 38km south-east of Donetsk) the SMM spoke to a young man who said that the former local holiday camp was currently occupied by an unknown armed group. He could not specify for how long this armed group had been stationed in the village. In the village the SMM spoke to two women, both wearing military uniforms, with caps with Russian Federation Armed Forces insignia. They said that they were from Kramatorsk. During the conversation with the two women a vehicle with Russian Federation number plates stopped next to the OSCE vehicles and two armed men, similarly dressed, exited the car and ordered the women to stop the conversation with the SMM. Behind a tall fence inside the holiday camp, the SMM observed one infantry fighting vehicle.

At a checkpoint on the outskirts of “DPRâ€-controlled Makiivka (10km east of Donetsk), the SMM observed a child, approximately 12-14 years old, wearing a camouflage uniform and holding an AK-47 rifle.

Research about MH17-downing

Bellingcat-Author was former employee of the Ministry of State Security (GDR ) (SPIEGEL - google transl.)

Claiming that the Russian Defense Ministry had manipulated satellite imagery to launch flight MH17 ,

the research platform Bellingcat caused a stir recently.

Image forensics experts have criticized the report as "reading tea leaves" and unscientific. (--> english SPIEGEL international)

Hany Farid of Dartmouth College in the United States describes the Bellingcat analysis as "fatally flawed and speculative."

Now the platform is in the centre of attention because of a personal matter:

One of the authors of Bellingcat was, due to information obtained by SPIEGEL ONLINE, until the German reunification an employee of the Ministry of State Security (-> intelligence and secret police) of the GDR, shortly Stasi.

The man from Berlin did joined Bellingcat and appeared under the pseudonym "Timmi Allen" .

As the research revealed, Allen's real name is on a list, which lists approximately 95,000 full-time employees of the Stasi, effective 1989.

It is unclear which were the duties of this man working for the Stasi. Also how his past might have influenced the work of Bellingcat can not be said. Bellingcat founder Eliot Higgins defends the employee. He is not in a position to tell Germans what they should think about the past of Timmi Allen, Higgins told SPIEGEL ONLINE: "Over the past nine months, I got to know him as a volunteer who has sacrificed his spare time to the truth behind the murder of 298 passengers on board Flight MH17 uncover. "

Bellingcat has made a name for researching war crimes in Syria in the recent years, but also about the Ukraine. Timmi Allen belonged to the Bellingcat team who retraced the path of the Russian Buk missile , which was said to be responsible for the downing of Flight MH17. Even the SPIEGEL and SPIEGEL ONLINE have collaborated in researching the MH17-launch with Bellingcat

Timmi Allen is listed as an author in the latest report, in which the Russian Defense Bellingcat accuses of having falsified Satellite Images to this Case MH17.

US Congress Blocks Aid to Ukraine’s 'Repulsive' Neo-Nazis

During Thursday’s discussion on defense appropriations for this year the US House of Representatives approved bipartisan amendments to block the training of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi “Azov Battalion†and to prevent the transfer of shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine.

U.S. House Passes 3 Amendments By Rep. Conyers To Defense Spending Bill To Protect Civilians From Dangers Of Arming and Training Foreign Forces

“If there’s one simple lesson we can take away from US involvement in conflicts overseas, it’s this: Beware of unintended consequences. As was made vividly clear with U.S. involvement in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion decades ago, overzealous military assistance or the hyper-weaponization of conflicts can have destabilizing consequences and ultimately undercut our own national interests,†said Rep. John Conyers. “I am grateful that the House of Representatives unanimously passed my amendments last night to ensure that our military does not train members of the repulsive neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, along with my measures to keep the dangerous and easily trafficked MANPADs out of these unstable regions.â€

Ukraine’s Azov Battalion is a 1,000-man volunteer militia of the Ukrainian National Guard that Foreign Policy Magazine has characterized as “openly neo-Nazi,†and “fascist.â€

Ukraine’s Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, who oversees Ukraine’s armed militias, announced that Azov troops would be among the first units to be trained by the Pentagon in Operation Fearless Guardian, prompting significant international concern.

This year, when the U.S. sent military trainers to western Ukraine to help the National Guard, Avakov said Azov would be among the first units to take part in the Fearless Guardian exercise, but the U.S. insisted the unit be left out.

....last fall, the 400-strong Azov Battalion became part of the National Guard, receiving permission to expand to 2,000 fighters and gaining access to heavy weaponry.

little bit older but maybe some of you didnt catch this aswell:

Yats To Washington: Please Buy Ukraine (FORBES)

Ukraine Prime Minister Arseniy “Yats†Yatsenyuk is lobbying Washington to convince American firms

to buy up Ukraine in the country’s planned flea market of state controlled enterprises.

The recent Euromaidan revolution took the country out of Russia’s sphere of influence and into Europe and the U.S. “loving arms.â€

However, the nation is not united on Kyiv’s newfound love for the west.

Yats, meanwhile, is teaming with president Petro Poroshenko in leading a nation of disbelievers. Their poll numbers are in the gutter.

And so if Yats thinks that selling a state asset for a dime to foreigners is going to go off without protest, then it is clear that Ukraine is not disinterested in being controlled by foreign entities after all, so long as those foreign entities do not speak Russian.

“The Prime Minister of Ukraine has urged U.S. partners to actively use the investment opportunities offered by the privatization campaign in Ukraine, particularly in the energy sector,†a statement posted on Ukraine’s governmental website said on Monday.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2015/05/25/yats-to-washington-please-buy-ukraine/

Yatsenyuk Calls on Washington to Purchase Ukrainian State Companies

Ukraine’s Prime Minister wants US firms to take an active part in purchasing

the country’s state assets as part of privatization campaign.

In late March, the Ukrainian government approved a list of facilities subject to privatization, putting up for sale predominantly energy-related enterprises. The list includes the peat concern UkrTorf, power generating company Centrenergo, a number of heat power stations and regional energy companies.

In March, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed on a four-year financial assistance package for Ukraine. The IMF allocated $17.5-billion to bail out Ukraine in exchange for Kiev's commitment to pursue deep political, social and financial reforms.

In total, Ukraine is set to receive around $40 billion in an IMF-led international bailout in the four coming years to avert a financial collapse.

things you linked/quoted show that Russian propaganda was not only wrong but also said some truth words,

if in few years /months it will come to true that some things were baked by CIA to create Ukraine as colony for corporations than i would not know how to apologize Russians :O shit, they start doing what was done in Poland in 1989 - selling industry, than next step will be mass unemployment , third step will be flow of money from local market abroad without any taxes

The sale or partially investment of national property is sometimes questionable and really crazy cases exist i.e. leasing. This or partly privatisized did happen in other countries in Europe, also in Germany and in countries around the world.

Actually, such firms were financed with taxes from the people and therefore it should belong to the nation.

The word private comes from Latin and is called "privare", which means - robbing.

Its definition means further, it takes away and excludes from others.

This doesnt mean privatisation in general is bad or not needed, no we dont live with communism or socialism but many countries here in Europe live with a social market system and we have certain values which others would like to soften for pure profits.

Of course there are critical situations when such firms have major difficulties to run the business or in the case of the Ukraine - a sale out due to bankruptcy.

One of the reason of the economical situation in the Ukraine currently is actually the broken ties with Russia, parts of the Ukrainian economy was subsidized by them and the former vivid trade with Russia is missing. In addition the whole valueable Donetzk region with its industry is gone.

Interesting. Putin's strategy is making their propaganda to come true.

Basically Ukraine's PM is selling the companies to get money to finance the war that Putin provoked. Ans as all wars, it also increased nationalist radical movements.

Is Putin a C.I.A. agent? :j:

so far we do not know if this proposal to sell Ukrainian industry is BECAUSE of war with separatists and need for money or BECAUSE now they have power and they can ,

other words:

Polish history shows that some people say about freedom not because they want to bring freedom, wealth to nation, but because they want to replace old regime with their own , it happens in politics very often, politicians who say that they want to reduce enormous money waste on luxury by one government, when win elections, increase those luxuries and buy new limousines,

and fact that noone from USA shows MH17 solid proofs also is suspicious, why ?

maybe it is in profit of together USA and Russia ? "you keep mouth shut about one, i keep mouth shut about second, you steal one thing, i steal second thing"

i am trying to find similarity between Polish 1988-1990s history and Ukraine,

in case of my country new elites and old elites signed some deals (called from city name Magdalenka) in those deals commies and some part of opposition (in 1988) allow each other to steal like "we will not touch you, you will not touch us" as result noone from commies is punished and many commie intel officers get into business and administration, and "opposition" sells some part of industry becoming very rich and placing their kids abroad, noone from those deals ever cared about country/nation/economy, but of course they were talking about freedom,

how much western companies earned on bringing high-tech to Russian army ? why now those companies do not help Ukraine but Ukraine is to sell industry abroad ?

what is scale/level of help to Ukraine from the international community ? i do not know so i ask ,

i know that some thousands Ukrainians are getting help from my country (kids, students, scholarship ) or Lithuania

why Ukraine is not getting bank credit, loans but has to sell industry? what about oligarchs and their money stored in some banks abroad ?

where is money and business of oligarchs located ? where are kids of oligarchs when Ukraine is in war ?

cause top rich Poles who made huge fortunes on Polish "privatization" in 1989 now live in Switzerland for example, some left to Israel, some live in USA, Southern America since decade or 2 decades

if country selling it because of separatists than what about Russian oligarchs money in Swiss banks ?

why west won't take Russian oligarchs money in Swiss/British/German/US banks and nationalize it to give to Ukraine ?

and what about Ukrainian oligarchs?

at some point is possible that snipers of Maidan were acting AGAINST interest of Yanuk , cause their action caused things that were not profitable for Yanuk ,

what about investigation about snipers from Maidan ?

if police in our world can find 2 guys who stolen piece of metal ( 2 thugs from abroad ordered stealing "Arbeit Macht Frei" letters from Aushwitz 3 years ago and police in world was able to find 2 neonazis within 48 hours who stolen piece of metal from Aushwitz in other countries, police could find 2 guys who stolen piece of metal plate in another country) than what about those snipers ?

when big money and privatisation process begins and IMF is active i am starting to be suspicious

Putin is not CIA agent but things that happens in Ukraine are now less profitable for Russia (sanctions, loosing democratic standards like isolation of Russians, dead soldiers and families of soldiers), western europe (trade with Russia) , Poland (cost of refugees, lost trade with Russia), so far who has no losses ?

Maidan started cause some part of society wanted to EU and rest of society had enough of corruption, than someone started shooting and hell begun, than Putin annexed Crimea and green-men tactics and "there are no Russian soldiers" later as well,

at moment of anexation i would believe snipers were ordered by Putin to destabilize Ukraine, especially with those "nazi" fake propaganda,

now Ukrainian new government (partly from Timoshenko government , who was also outvoted because of corruption and criminal charges whe people voted for Yanuk clique) wants to sell Ukrainianian industry and it makes me confused who started this hell and who simply tries to grab profits from it,

So a full peninsula touristic resort + military bases? Have the indirect control of a country and the power to rise hell is not a benefit for Putin? Also the fact that the both the EU & US have poured insane amount of money to help Ukraine to not crumble?

Check Putin's index of popularity in Russia a year before he invaded Crimea, and now.

Besides do you really think Putin care about the dead soldiers? Russia has a different culture about their soldiers than "the West".

Putin has been trying to destabilize Ukraine for more than a decade, when he rigged the Ukrainian elections of 2004.
