Import Heightmap back into L3dt

I have made a few changes to my terrain using bulldoze and now i need to put this back into my L3dt project .. but when i import my heightmap back in it start a new Project , is there a way to update an existing projects as i need to keep my attributes / design map etc..

You can't export xyz data out of visitor3 by itself. However if you grab mikeros tool depew(I think that's the one) it can extract that data from the pew for you which you can then put into l3dt

I'm not sure if you can actually REload a heightmap back into an existing project... The option for heightmaps is limited to "import" I think, and thats usually the start of the process, and it unloads the old project before starting a new one...

I think it assumes that if you've changed the heightmap externally then you'd want to recalculate anyway......

One workaround that you could try is to export the important layers individually, then start a new project with your latest version heightmap, and then import the other layers... I think before you import a layer - eg: Attribute Map, you have to have generated one beforehand, then you can import over the top... The same may apply to the other map types...
