cannot confirm. i'm on stable and i'm getting this as soon as i'm in the main menu, but that seems to be because i also start with other mods as well. haven't figured out yet which one is causing it...

It does not come up for me, the black box of error text with that same message came up for me on dev, but never on stable.

is it possible for you to make an accupoint tr20 (might be mislabeled in arsenal the same sight that is in project reality, or at least same sight picture) that can be accepted on rails or a G3 m203/ HK79 that dosent have rails on it

You mean "dev" as in Arma 3 dev-branch? If that's so that's because that branch uses -showScriptErrors which is by default disabled on stable. Error is still there (check RPT), it juts doesn't show on-screen if you don't have it enabled.

I'm getting the error on main branch (you need to enable -showScriptErrors for that, or else the error is hidden but it's still there).

Any chance for a fix sometimes soon? It is rather confusing for new players who install the mod and need to be able to tell a true error from a known one.

he says in the video that the hanguard and buttstock were both 3D-printed. so it is still an early prototype, not the final approved version

"It's still at a prototype stage but it would be cool to have this version in A3"

but still - it's too damn epic to not have it instead of the more "traditional" Gen. 1 (esp. the reload wise)

I understand, as I've said Toadie has known about it. He just told me that if it doesn't pop up on stable then he's not going to stress it. It will be fixed though.

Yes I know he knows about it. And the only reason why it doesn't "pop-up" is because of that launch parameter not used on stable, error is there either way. :)

first: I'm really a fan of this work can in fact be considered to be the best weapon pack that exists so far for Arma3 absolutely amazing Thanks ... second, I wonder if there is any configuration currently or in the future to replace weapons Vanilla by these, if it is not so I wonder how, I searched for information to do so but there are many things that do not yet have clear and I could not do it if I could I help that they are grateful ... thanks and amazing congratulations again

Very good stuff. I particularly like the FN package.

Any way we could get the FN FAL 50.63 (the Para model) to accept rail attachments? Ideally without ruining the base model of the rifle (with no rails)... though I admit that I'm less than knowledgeable about how the Arma3 weapons are set up. For example: is it possible for the game to render the rifle with the DSA rail top cover when an optic is mounted, but with a normal lightweight classic top cover when there's no optic? Same for the handguards where you'd inevitably mount a pointer/illuminator and flashlight - when those are enabled, show a small rail section drilled into the handguard, and when not enabled, show the regular handguard. I completely understand if this is wishful thinking.

Thanks for all this. It's 99% perfect as it is as far as I'm concerned.

Hey toadie, another small bug report. The Steyr AUG A1 9mm has a wrong animation, you end up holding it by the barrel instead of by the front grip. Can't wait to see what you come out with next!

Edit: Since loading the optional ACE 3 config for the AUGs this problem has been solved.

You have to use the ASDG_JointRails slots.

After much searching and trying I have achieved this what I was talking about earlier ... this is my replacement project HLC weapons, take a look and anything that can help me, say or instruct them ... thanks

So yeah, turning on the script debug did it, it's a thing. I'll talk to my more SQF-knowledgable friends and see whats up.

If worst comes to worst and I can't get it to not do that, would anybody be terribly offended if I deprecated the VOG25P to an optional PBO?

Additionally, because I haven't implicitly said it before, aronh17 is basically my fill in when I'm flat out busy, so if I'm not around for a few days and he responds, consider it authoriative on my behalf.

Quite possibly. I have the AKS underfolderstock that goes with the AK47, I'm kind of hesitant to just adding it without going whole hog and doing the tactical AKs as well. For now, just let it be known that when Tactical AKs goes ahead, so will the AKMS.

I can't imagine firing a Battle Rifle power round in full auto out of a 1950s era Rifle with a 10 inch barrel would feel too good.

I'm actually with you there - the stock FAL handguard is likely not strong enough to mount rails and still maintain a zero etc. I just hate the look of big railed fore-ends - the classic 3 slot handguard is so iconic on the FN. Thanks for the reply!

edit: Also, brilliant work with the StG57 - can't wait to see it. Really top notch work in here.

We were wonder would it be possible to release the HLC Augs with rifles with proper firing modes, having the A3 Streyrs in fully automatic all the time become a little limiting in the way we can control them.

Replicates reality (two stage trigger), as discussed by toadie quite a while back in this thread.

Click once for semi, click and hold for automatic.

...Which is an issue with the real life rifle as well, two stage trigger. Toadie might do the F88 Austeyr at some point, but the AUGs are currently WAD.

Speaking of AUGs there's a minor bug with them, in that the A2 carbine appears to use the same model as the standard-length A2.
