Plexico 10 Posted January 1, 2014 I am planning to upgrade my graphics from onboard graphics to a HIS 7770 1gb. I've seen many benchmarks for single player, but I know from ArmA II that FPS can be very different in multiplayer. So please those of you that have a 7770, what is your FPS in modes like Altis Life and Wasteland, and what are your other specs? aviax 10 Posted January 1, 2014 I play mainly tactical realism, and our community uses Blastcore A3, which makes explosions of vehicles, missiles fired from launchers, missiles fired from air vehicles, and smoke more realistic, and it's pretty intensive on your graphics card, and my 7770 1gb does just fine(unless there's an insane amount of explosions and smoke). When i'm on any of these servers I usually have standard graphics and above, but I will occasionally disable shadows if i want that extra frame boost, and i normally get 40-60 frames per second. As far as wasteland and Altis life goes, they won't really effect your video card more than doing a single player mission will, they're more CPU intensive. Just keep in mind there are more important things than a video card when you talk about multiplayer, such as your internet connection, ram, and of course your CPU. If you want a good video card to run ArmA that isn't terribly expensive i would definitely give a +1 for the 7770, but if you are one who enjoys high quality graphics then i would go for the 2gb edition of the 7770 as a side note.
