Fire drops frames to zero and crashes Arma

Anyone else getting this since last update?

If I'm close to a big explosion and looking at the fire, my frames will drop down to zero and then game will crash.

and if i alt Tab to try to close arma it seems that my windows colors are all messed up

just a stupid question...

Did you activate Blastcore mod (version for Arma2)?

Because blastcore version arma2 is working but causing this symptoms if you go near the wreck in fire.

Could you create a mission in the editor that shows the problem? ideally it should be 100% repeatable.

If I undestand right, you're all having random CTD while playing Arma? Cause I'm playing on a server and I'm having random CTD problem. Don't know why..

I'm using Speed of Sound Mod but I don't think this is the real why..

well i have tested it in the editor and no crashes

And yes it is while i playing invade & annex

And no i don't have mod's running

so that means the mission or server causes the problem ?

and is there any solution to fix it

Possibly the same issue but randomly when in invade and annex and large explosion not using mods the game grinds to a halt and looks like it crashed but if you leave it for a minute the game comes back, occasionally crashes to desktop.

We have this exact problem playing any mission on our server. When a vehicle is burning anyone going near it will crash out of the game.
