Okay did some checking (thanks WarLord554) and after playing with the SCARs in A2 the plastic won't have that oily look that they did in A2. The barrels and other exposed metal will have that little shine to them but overall that's about it.

Given that most of the updates now are consisting mainly of RVMATing I'll shoot for Friday for at least that as an update. I'm a bit leaning towards the SureFire 60 mag... but which gun or guns would people like it on out of curiosity?

I think it would be fitting on all of your U.S. Specop weapons (H&K 416,417's-SCAR's) and so on...

Hopefully not kicking a dead horse here, but did you ever look into a system of having 4 pos. rail attatchments? I saw several pages back that it was in discussion but failed to comprehend what the final verdict on it was. Was also wanting to ask you if red/green beam daylight lasers or even a weapon mounted target designating laser is feasible, and what your educated thoughts are on them and their functionality?

...and thirdly, have you considered adding some more pistols into your pack? I collect semi auto pistols and really enjoy RobertHammer's Rh Pistols, but there are so many deserving makes and models that have been left un-represented for this game. A missing puzzle piece of sorts. Wouldn't mind having a go at them myself if you would hang with me on skype or teamview or w.e. and give me some advice. My ADD hampers me from being able to bring target ideas to fruition as so much is spinning around up there and I begrudgingly leap from step 1- step 4 -step 10 then back to 2. lol

I agree with @robowilso regarding pistol department. I personally think that proper HK 45c and UMP45 SMG would be nice addition to armaverse.

Eric, personally I would like to see the Surefire mags added to your Scars as they are what I usecthe most out of your pack, but whatever you choose to release is fine.

I saw Eric said something aout these type of errors on the first page. Is this what that section was about?

I personally don't use Skype (even with my Dad) as I don't hang on that at all to make it practical, EricJ562 is my Steam ID and we can go from there.

Regarding visible lasers... I'd have to get with WarLord554 on how he did that and maybe get around to it. Weapon mounted laser designators are not practical in-game (unless somehow they've made practical ones for SOF?) due to the fact that the Laser Designator itself is considered a Weapon within the scheme of A3 and simply not coded for attachment use. Only IR lasers and Flashlights can be attached.

I've tried MRT with the laser/light combo and fuck if I know how to get it working. I've spent some time (with some help from da12thmonkey and WarLord554) but so far it just doesn't like me as far as getting it to work. So honestly the MRT capability right now is not something I'm confident in getting working so it's at the backburner for now.

As far as the SureFire mags go... bear in mind I only care about the 5.56 only so no HK417s or 7.62mm weapons.

I may do an M45A1 but nothing concrete yet, I'm still realistically working for -mastermind- and his project so I have to shoot him a PM and see where I'm at on that one so it's kept my focus elsewhere. I'll see what I can do though.

A basic start on the SureFire mags, simply just adapting a normal 30-round magazine and reshaping it and adjusting it based on the SureFire design.

Yeah I used to have 3DSMax when I was in Germany but for the life of me it just was a bit much. I mean 3DSMax was a bit daunting for me, so O2/Object Builder is actually much easier for me to use and create stuff. About 95% of my stuff I've done over the years has been through O2/Object Builder. It's yeah... not the greatest but overall I like it's simplicity over the more complexity of say 3DSMax or Blender.

The target is right now the 60-rounders, NOT the 100-rounders. I'd rather put a C-MAG on a weapon than a long mag like the 100-rounder.

Seems like your custom m4 make game crash. when i try to pick up from arsenal it make game crash so as your weapon box too, not sure what making this, it happen been pretty while from the very first of release of m4 custom.

I was wondering if anyone has a fix for the sounds on the U100 pack. When it has a silencer on it, it sounds like I'm shooting a air soft gun.

Well I'm sure taumargin can say that he did an actual recording of the suppressor sounds, so I doubt he'd steer me wrong. Besides there are a few people who use real suppressors (sport and otherwise), so when they're not complaining, I'm not worried. I.e. the sounds are accurate so there isn't a "fix" available.

Okay looks like Saturday or Sunday as earlier today I was feeling like shit and now feeling a bit better (some kind of bug, or food, not sure yet) as well as some personal issues that came up has kinda distracted me from game life, which is okay as the world is still turning. I have some more RVMATs to apply to the M4s as well as a few others to get them Gucci'd up a bit more.

Okay some progress, here's the AN/PVS-22 model donated by WarLord554... As such the PVS-22 is part of the 3D model so far. As I was typing this I figured you can make it part of the MRT system (next update) due to the fact that it can be "removed" and "put on" via that way. Right now since I got it set right now I'll leave them separate and for RC55 or so make it MRT-Compatible. As quite frankly I'm set on getting a release out now with stuff already setup so I can "pause" and focus on that next. Otherwise the non-PVS-22 model is Day Only, while this version is Night Only:

As for the 60-rounder magazine so far it'll be on just these weapons FOR NOW:

SCAR-L

HK416 10.5-inch

M4/M4A1

Again I'm looking to release tomorrow so that's a good start and allows some feedback, etc.

Also I misspoke with the REC-7. I have no plans or care to do the M468, i.e. textured. So in lieu of that I'll slip in the LWRC 6.8 SPR (have to re-stock it as it only has a PRS stock on it now) maybe tomorrow with the next update, so there'll be additions, but slow increments.

Okay I just have to RVMAT some weapons and do the inventory images for the "w/SF60" weapons and tomorrow (Saturday even though right now it is) I should get them out. If Winters12 is still lurking about no, I'm still unable to show the magazine types, but yes of course the "w/SF60" weapons can still accept 30-rounders. Whenever BIS comes up with a reliable method to allowing magazines like that to do then it'd cut down a lot on my own workload. But overall it looks fairly promising.
