leocapnaone 10 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Hi guys, I'm having a problem that is annoying me as f***! When I'm playing the Harvest Red Campaign, Cooper talks normally with the others, but when I use radio commands he uses PMC voice, that is horrible in this situation. So I've decided to test it. In the editor a Rifle Team (USMC), im the leader, I say something like "STOP", and them the other answer like "Roger", "Copy", etc... With a Rifle Team (US Army) I did the same, with KSK (Germany), etc... IN ALL THEM, MY RADIO COMMAND HAD THAT HORRIBLE VOICE, AND MY SOLDIERS HAVE THEIR NORMAL VOICES! This is so bad for the game. SO i opened this: "ArmA2/Expansion/Addons/dubbingradio_e.pbo". This have 5 different English voices and 5 Takistani voices, plus some female voices. On this archive does'nt have any off that horrible voice, just the common English voices. So I opened the ArmA 2 Standalone (No OA, BAF, PMC), and it worked, perfectly! And for last, I already have this problem before installing Reinforcements. On the Combined Operations I haved PMC and BAF blurry textures and weapons, it was Lite version. Can someone help me? Thanks guys :) Game version: 1.62.95248 I have discovered that this voice is "Male01EN" from dubbingradio_e. And also this voice will be the voice of the player if the player unit speak english. preview="default\combat\CS_FireInTheHoleE.ogg"; default="Male01EN"; class Base { variants[]={0.94999999,1,1.05}; voiceType=""; scope=0; }; class EN: Base { protocol="RadioProtocol_EP1_EN"; identityTypes[]= { "default", "Head_USMC", "Head_USMC_CO", "Head_USMC_Camo", "Head_USMC_CO_Camo", "Head_Default", "Head_Special", "Language_EN_EP1" }; }; The red part (default="Male01EN") does not have on the ArmA 2 standalone "dubbing.pbo". I think its there that lives the problem, I've tried to delete the line, but when the mission is loading the game crashes. What can I do??? Now I've discovered the thing that make everything impossible. In ArmA 2 standalone does not have that weird voice on player (Male01EN), but it have another voice, its "Cooper" voice (Male02EN). So player will never be capable of changing the voice of his character... Buuuut if you spawn with any unit, and make another unit (that you want to play) playable, u can switch to this unit and have his original voice. In campaign its almost impossible, u need to put all missions on editor, and make another player, with the old unit player being playable. This is very disappointing. I guess we need to play this way.... Edited December 16, 2013 by leocapnaone Advanced on the solution
