LEA - Loadout Editor for ArmA 3

I have problems with the LEA.

Im creating a simple mission with 13 slot for MP for my comunity. This is for share profiles of the VAS. People get one role, save profile in the VAS, and repeat with the others.

My problem is when load mission and enter the game with one slot, this miss some objects. For example, my leader slot lost 1 9mm ammo, 1 5.56mm ammo and 1 40mm HE grenade. In AT slot, my soldier lost all of this and 1 Titan Missile AT, in the editor i put 1 missile in weapon and one in backpack, but this lost the backpack missile, and have capacity.

And the other problem, the capacity of the items in LEA is not equal of simulator. In the LEA i can set for exemple 37 in a backpack of one of this slots. But when enter to mission, this backpack is overfull, i need put out 27! items for get real full capacity.

I hardly understand what your are trying to do with VAS and LEA :confused:

Anyway could you check that the content of the script is correct regarding the loadouts of your mission in LEA mission Editor ?

Now if some containers (uniform/vest/backpack) have wrong Max load capacity and some items have a wrong mass, you may expect missing items in the game indeed.

Firstof try without using supplementary addons. As I can see you use a lot of addons and some of them are not from the public repository.

Maxload and Mass values can be edited in LEA through the Intall new Addons interface.

I think the mass value for AT missile has been updated recently in ArmA 3 so it's currently wrong in LEA. That's why you get this issue.

The script have correctly Titan missile AT in loadoutMultiplayer.SQL, but when load the mission, this lost 1 AT missile in Backpack.

Ok, found the problem, the mass of the backpack is wrong (too high), we have to change that.

The current massload set in LEA is 240, it should be 160.

I'll look into it and change the mass of the backpacks.

Still remain the problem, i changed the mass of the backpack from 240 to 160, save, set again the backpack in the AT profile, set profile to the AT soldier, export, load mission, and lost the Titan Missile AT of the backup.

You think before i set the gear in the LEA, i manually put in the A3 editor for try and all work well, although the mass is greater, if the inventory is correct, you should not lose any object.

I think it is related to the other problem i have. For example, the vest allows me 10x 5.56mm magazines, and 2x RGO grenades. But when I put it like that with the LEA, in game 1x 5.56mm magazine me disappears.

The backpack of my leader, is proven in the A3 itself, and yet you a 40mm HE Granada disappears.

They always seem to miss a main charger/ammunition, from the 3 inventories, uniform, vest and backpack.

No problem on my side, try to it without any custom addons. I have only one AT missile on my backpack, it works.

Thanks for the feedback, it also does the same with the PCML.

Right now, the best for you it's to change the backpack model and use for example the Bergen.

Again the problem is simply due to a wrong value for the Mass value of the AT missile in LEA and/or the maxload value of the backpack in LEA. With the correct values you shouldn't be able to add it into the backpack from the LEA loadout interface => Papa check it out ;)

I tried with an other launcher, I checked both maxload & mass, there are correct. I think the bug is due to the backpack model.

I tried to understand the LEA system. I got it almost. Except after getting in the editor en select profile on the preview. I don't know how to save it. when you get back in the editor interface you loose every thing right?

I want to create a single player mission. I want to create a special force team with specific loadout (already created).

I 'm a bit lost in the procedure even I checked the Wiki LEA..I got the demo mission too.

Please someone can help ?

You never loose anything. Whatever you do, everything is save to disk at LEA closing. Now you can perform instant save to disk if you want. Menu Mission -> Save: saves the loadouts of the mission into "missions" folder of LEA (look inside LEA installation). Same thing for menu Profile -> Export -> which go to profiles folder of LEA

Sorry i mean the Arma Editor, not LEA editor.

when you do Preview in the Arma Editor, after you do center click mouse en apply profile (the one you choose)

I got the profile but... What is the next step in the Arma editor? to save the mission with loadout?

.. or the Arma editor is simply to test the loadout?

I have difficulty to understand that part

From the LEA wiki the Player usage part and the Mission-maker part are 2 distinguished things. If you want to edit loadouts in a mission, consider the mission-maker part.

I do notice two things though. I can't find designator batteries in the load out menus and there is no way to get the profiles to start with loaded weapons? I can select the weapon, select the magazine so it is loaded (magazine icon is colored in, next to weapon), fill my inventory with extra magazines and when I start the mission magazines are missing?

In the Weapons dropdown list select Goggles. Then select Laser Designator on the left side and you will be given Designator Batteries on the right side.

Don't understand your other problem. Could you make screen shot please. Have a look to the wiki if not already (menu Help -> online Help).
