Arma 3 STABLE Server 2.16 "profiling / performance binary" feedback

DEV 1.09 has already most of the new code ... so you can expect STABLE 1.10 to include them

new performance binary available for last 48h

new profiling binary being tested on all 6 primary servers under my control

two new servers on 3.5GHz Xeon were added (2x81 players) located in Frankfurt

Well it seems santa brought us a gift. Time to get back in Arma 3 MP. ^^

Can't wait to see what you guys can accomplish next. This is really uplifting. :D

most of the changes slowly appear on the 1.09 DEV changelog ...

one ine changelog: you get more FPS server/client side and better MP

Indeed, the improvements are very apparent, I'm rather interested in gaining a lower level understanding of what changed. It seems so sudden.

With a ping of 110 on the France server. I get between 20 and 30 FPS. Now my settings are at ultra mostly with distance quite up. But then changing those usually give me nothing more so why change it. Before i used to have 10-15 FPS to 20 when lucky. So yes there is definitely a positive change with these binaries. Cool stuff. :)

new version of PERF servers up ...

(server side only fixes) resolved physx crashes , the skeleton spammy bug etc.

I'm getting 50 fps in agia marina with everything maxed completely... WOW I might start playing this game again. However this probably doesn't mean squat considering there were no other players on the server.

EDIT

NVM performance still degrades like crazy, after playing 10 minutes on a server with players fps dropped to 20. Too good to be true.

RIG: i7 4770k and 2x GTX 780 Ti

Seriously these servers are gold ! Finally it is possible to play with 30 players on a server by getting 30 fps nearly everywhere (except in big towns).

so server crash (that's good got it captured) but i need repopulate, everyone with arma 3 and little fre time please join

=MARSOC= has been hosting this on our west coast servers for a few weeks now

our servers never had, [PERF], so ill add it.

We host this version of the PERF exe.

Dwarden, any updates on the PERF .exe since last week? And what should admins do w/regards to tomorrows update? Do we run the version that comes with the update or continue getting "beta" versions of the .exe from you via skype?

Hey Dwarden,

in the DayZ SA they are working on a so-called 'Network Bubble' for MP optimization. Do you know whether there are any plans doing this for Arma 3 and can we expect more MP optimizations in the future?
