Havoc Company

What is Havoc Company?

Havoc Company, based in the United Kingdom but attract people from all over the world, is a realistic – tactical clan offering a medium

combining realism and fun. With our approach to the game we believe we have struck the right balance between these two elements.

Our realism comes into the equation when you consider that all members are given formal training in tactics and procedures for many

different aspects of the game. Our realism also comes into effect when you consider our co-op missions. They are best described as

"Realistic, action orientated, scenarios" meaning that our mission makers focus on realistic briefings, objectives, enemy unit placement,

force ratio etc. while also ensuring tough firefights with a tough enemy.

The fun comes from our members who can switch instantly from being totally and utterly serious about completing the mission the

proper way one minute to being goofy and sharing a joke the next. As i said earlier, our missions are action orientated meaning

there is always a lot to see and do. Our missions are a real challenge and we find a challenge fun.

"Do anything, be anyone"

Havoc Company operates on the principle that anyone can play as any role they wish as long as they have the right skills to do so.

That means you are not limited to being a rifleman or tank driver for each mission, although you can if you wish.

This variety means a completely different gaming experience each time you play with Havoc Company.

What we offer you.

- A mature atmosphere, which also offers a large degree of fun.

- A realistic gaming setting, which does not forgot about the fun of ArmA.

- Scheduled missions throughout the week (including Sunday Operations).

Frequently Asked Questions.

How long is your recruitment period?

We have a four week period for our new recruits. During this period the recruit shall take part in our Phase 1 training (basic fire-team training).

Once you have sucessfully completed this you are allowed to join our Sunday Operations.

Your performance will be evaluated and we can work on any aspect you might be weak on.

Do you play with third-person view? And what difficulty do you play on?

Havoc Company does not play with the third-person view; as we wish to achieve the most realism possible.

We strive to make the AI as realistic as possible but not super X-ray vision soldiers of doom either. Crosshairs are also disabled.

We realise entering the world of Arma multiplayer can be a daunting prospect at times.

For new recruit’s we often suggest buddying up with an established member.

This program is especially useful for the 1st few Sunday Operations you attend.

You use British tactics…So do you use British Units/Weapons/Vehicles?

At Havoc we pride ourselves on being a universal fighting force. Although we do use British tactics, we are not an exclusively British unit. We will be using various mods depicting various countries to keep games fresh.

How are mods handled?

Every mod that is suggested for us to us, is extensively tested by our S3 team, and is also put to the vote from our clan community.

It has been a while since our last update, so here goes nothing.

We are still a clan based on having fun in a tactical way, We don't mimic any particular military organisation as this can sometimes suck the fun out of ARMA. We currently have 24 members, averaging 18+ per Sunday Operation.

MODS:

Now fully moved over to Task Force Radio, excellent bit of kit.

A3MP has been added and 4 missions are in the works.

John Spartan & Souls e excellent F/A-18

We also have some custom uniforms created by our in house 'fashion designer' The Fox.

For quick and easy set up, we have incorporated the use of ARMA3SYNC, You can find the details on our website.

All mods that make it in our mod pack are fully tested to ensure they don't impact server stability, as a result of this all our servers have signing on to stop any conflicts and server downtime.

Havoc Company is always open to recruits. If you really do fancy ARMA without the bollocks, then Havoc is the place for you.

Still alive!

Havoc-Company is still up and running, slowly plodding along with around 10 members. Playing a regular custom made mission at 19:00GMT/BST on a Sunday evening.

We don't actively recruit people to join our ranks as the player pool is much smaller considering how old Arma3 is. We are open to anyone looking for a European based squad using a mix of modern and old combat mods then you should check us out.

Another regular game mode/mission type we play is Liberation, we play this ad-hoc through out the week, but every Friday around 20:00GMT/BST, This is a modless game, so need to download gb's of data to play.

Search for our servers in the server list under 'Havoc Company', or join us on Teamspeak and we can help you get set up, our TS address www.havoc-company.com, the password is Orange.

Our Youtube channel is still active to, a few Arma operations get posted along with some relating to DCS.
