Ok...,

--Thru steam...go to: a3//properties//local files// "Verify game cache.."

From the other thread try: "....Also you can try a new arma3.cfg, by renaming it(Xarma3.cfg)...."

--A full reinstall of a3?

Running out of ideas..., keep us posted, good luck.

I may have the solution to your problem.

As much as I can figure out from your error report, you need to download:

nvwgf2um.dll

You know just google it and download it.

Then place it in your Arma 3 directory.

Best of Luck.

I would strongly disagree with the above post, adding dlls is not a good thing to start doing. The problem seems to be graphics card related, perhaps try:

Uninstall graphics drivers and restart

Use a tool like driver sweeper to completely remove all remnants of the driver

Install new drivers fresh from the website.

edit: googling "nvwgf2um.dll" provides some interesting reading.

I too am having a similar problem. I'm using AMD Radeon 6800 series, windows 7, i5, 8gb ram and have run plenty of other games fine. However, when I try to start Arma it glitches past the splash screens and freezes/crashes at the start/main menu. Sometimes when I ctrl alt del to get to task manager it tells me my graphics card has failed but recovered. Please help, I don't want my 35$ to have been wasted!
