Guerilla Units and Groups in Editor for East and Independents

Hey Everyone,

I made a config file that changes the scope of the Guerilla East and Resistance units and groups (well created new groups based on BIS West Group definitions) so that they're visible in the Mission Editor. i.e. You can add them easily to the map from the GUI.

These aren't new units, I'm just exposing the hidden units that BIS already implemented. (They by default are only visible for West.)

The Offroad and Offroad Armed are also included.

Players of your mission won't need the addon to run the mission (because there's no new units).

The same addon also works if you are running VTS - just have the addon on the server, no need to be on each client. For MCC you would need this on both the server and Game Master's client.

You mean FIA units in the east side by default?

West, East and Independent sides.

BIS Have the units defined for all three, but the scope is set to show them in the editor for West only. This config changes that.

Where should I place those files?

should I do a @FOLDER in the main folder of Arma 3 or what?

.... And should it be possible to use FIA as another Side?

I Mean having NATO CSAT AAF FIA and Civilians all fighting each other like 5 diferent sides?

This is an addon, so install it like any other addon you might be running....and it will mean that you can use the FIA units (or faction if you will) on the three main sides...West, East and Independent...rather than just West. (It doesn't add extra sides to the game.)

I extracted into a @FIA folder the files axy_g_groups.pbo and config.cpp added -mod=@FIA in the arma 3 shortcut but in the Editor FIA only appears as Blueforce.

Try \whateverfolderyouputyourmodsin\@FIA\AddOns\axy_g_groups.pbo

What would the classnames for the groups be ?

If i want to spawn them what would i use ?

I tried IRG_InfTeam for example but this spawns nothing.

Use the software "unRap" to open the vlc config file of this pbo. There you should find all the config names you seek.

Hey, neat little addon, I use it all the time! Thank you!

However, one little thing: Some BLUFOR FIA classes are not available for INDFOR and OPFOR. Like the Combat Life Saver or Explosive Specialist. Is that a bug or are they just not defined for the other sides?

Same here, the supports, some groups and classes are missing, the mod needs an update I think.

Would be neat if someone could do it. Otherwise I would really have to create my own faction and I'm way to lazy for that.

Just kidding...

Hope that the author further supports his useful addon.
