Hey viper

The ACR is set for v2 along with our m4, mk.18, F90 and the desert tac srs sniper rifles.

ACR will be chambered in 556x45.

Finally I see you back to this thread.Really wanna see these weapons soon.And will you guys make this mod compatible with ASDGï¼JR and Ikrï¼ammo?

I am finishing off the HKs as we speak but i have ran into some trouble..

Everything is working so far including the flip down front site but as soon as i create a geometry LOD the front flip down sight moves off its axis to a completely different place..?

Any ideas?

add autocenter = 0 to the named properties in your new Geometry LOD

i am currently trying to do the m203 under barrel on my gun ..

How do i set this up ? lol

What points in oxygen do i need and config? can not find much info on this..

You got everything in arma 3 weapon sample if you have arma 3 tools installed

Yerp, what RH said. Look in the MX sample weapon p3d and find the two points in the area of the GL. Then look for the OP_Look points etc. Thats for ranging you're sight. In the model.cfg you can find the OP_look/sight (can't remember atm) to go with it

Looks like i found myself the perfect Weapon mod for my SOC team. Keep up the great work, these weapons are looking sharp. Even though i haven't seen the ACR model, that's probably what i'm looking forward to the most. Also love the Elcan scope. Keep up the awesomeness.

Cheers for that guys got it sorted last night.

Getting the eye point right is proving hard. But its all good

Will be testing the mod over next few days before announcing release v0.1.

Just need 2 suppressors for 7.62 guns to complete this now .

What I did was take the sight model from the MX and make a new separate p3d and put the sight and the relevant points all together in one LOD. I then got the GL sight from the SCAR since that's the same as the MX sight. Lined it up with the MX sight and then removed the low poly sight and save it. In the name selection call it what you want. Now you can merge it with any gun and move the whole thing (model and points together at once) to where you want on the gun. Then select the memory points and put them in the memory LOD. Delete them from the 1.00 LOD and you're good to go. Well should be :p

We are testing everthing now.

Will spend some time ironing out issues this week .

Thanks rob and slatts for the tips got it close , ill do small adjustments to get it better.

All looking really great so far.

SMA use asdg joint rails.

Ikr ammo will not be used for SMA but we are using spartan's ballistics for all the weapons . Just need the 7.62 ballistics from him ....nudje nudje..

WORKING ON IT!!!

I have 4 independent mod develpers waiting for my 7.62x51mm Ballistics, I apologize for the extremely long delay, this will be my most comprehensive ballistics set to date, its even more comprehensive than my 5.56x45mm ballistics, 4 barrel lengths and 4 different kinds of ammo = lots of time.

Spartan, any chance of some in depth .300 Blackout Ballistics in the future? hint hint, nudge nudge.......................i haven't talked to you about it, or even blazen, but while i was doing stuff on SMA before my little sabbatical, i also pretty much completed modelling a complete set of AAC MPW .300 BLK, that is 9", 12.5", 16" platforms..................http://www.advanced-armament.com/MPW_p_628.html

Around the 6 minute mark is the first dismount mainly visible is the MSAR STG E4, i think if you skip to 17minutes you will get a bit of a feel for the sounds of the weapons firing.......i have very crappy internet where I'm currently situated so i had to watch it in 240p and 10 second segments so skipped a whole lot of the video :(

I think don't give the 416 a flip down iron sight, mate. It kinda ruin the 416. And give it the same stock as the 417. M4's LMT 6 positions stock is kinda old-school. Just saying, though. If you don't want to change it that's fine, mate.

Hey, I don't know if this thread is still active, but I'll give it a go anyway.

So I checked the config for the SMA 5.56 suppressor and under classAmmoCoef it says:

hit = 0.8;

visibleFire = 0.3;

audibleFire = 0.8;

visibleFireTime = 0.5;

audibleFireTime = 1.0;

cost = 1.0;

typicalSpeed = 0.8;

airFriction = 1.0;

This is not correct, hit should be 1.0 and typicalSpeed should be 1. Reference this ticket (http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=6302). Bohemia had almost the same config you currently have, but they've changed it since. Suppressors do not impact the speed or the damage a round does. This only occurs when using subsonic ammo.
