Wiki's creations [ArmA 3]

Recommended Posts

Wiki, you said on your Arma 2 Creations thread that you didn't want to move to Arma 3 Editor. Why?

At that time, I still prefered ArmA 2 compared to ArmA 3, because of many things.

Now, I've moved to ArmA 3 only.

Thanks mate.

ATM I just stop making anything on ArmA 3, waiting for the expansion, stable 3D editor and fastrope (hope so much for it in the expansion... even if I doubt BIS will integrate it... :down: )

Yay! Another wiki campaign! Is it going to use some nice mods or plain and straight vanilla core?

Scenario finished, I plan about 8 or 9 missions (10 maximum).

The player will be an AAF soldier (+ 2 pilote missions).

It will explain what happened before the main ArmA 3 campaign.

Yeah I know.

As said, it's the very first mission of the campaign, to put the storyline on ;-)

There will be more later :-)

Thanks.

Nice begin i am waiting for more.

Two small errors:

Error in expression <"STRING", false, 0, []]];
_animations =	param [2, false, [[], false, "STRING"]];>
Error position: <param [2, false, [[], false, "STRING"]];>
Error Type Number, expected Bool,Array,String
File A3\functions_f_mark\Vehicles\fn_initVehicle.sqf, line 79

and

Suspending not allowed in this context
Error in expression <on ["eject",heli]; heli engineOn false; sleep 1; heli setVehicleLock "LOCKEDPLAY>
Error position: <sleep 1; heli setVehicleLock "LOCKEDPLAY>
Error Generic error in expression

First one is from some function, second because you put sleep in trigger

if you want sleep there you need to spawn code

Ok thanks.

I'll fix the second one, however I dunno what the first error is.

Awesome.

I also think maybe  you should make it more audible using for example arma 3 scenario sounds  like ambient talking or radio commands.

There are all arma 3 sentences config classes exported into cfgSounds ready to use in description.ext

unit say3d "class"

Too complicated for me lol, I just do basic scripting and missions ;-)

BTW, do you know what the first error is please? Can't find what that is.

Thanks!

execute from init.sqf:

{diag_log str _x} forEach diag_activeMissionFSMs;
{diag_log str _x} forEach diag_activeSQFScripts

and after this error shows up, go to RPT and look which script, function has executed fn_initVehicle

Wiki, are you going to have voice acting in the campaign too or not?

Well, some offered me to make some voices, but no news so far.

Plus I got no audio programm to work on it nor know how to integrate them during the dialog lines.

However, any help is welcome and if people are interesting giving me a hand, it would be great! :P

What kind of voice-overs do you need.

I've done voice-over work in the past for Arma and other projects.

I'm British but I also speak perfect French.

PM me if interested.
