What do i need to do to be able to post in the other sections?

Maybe it has something to do with your post count ? Not sure.

Lifted from the Bohemia Interactive Forum Rules (lowermost part)

Note:

1. New member's posts are auto-moderated, please don't re-post the same message over&over again.

2. New members are required to fill captcha before posting new answers/threads.

3. New members are limited in editing/accessing variety of profile & forum features.

These limitations are removed for regular forum users.

Same here, went through signing off on the rules and regs and still cannot create a thread.

I have one simple question regarding unit selection when running A3 on a MAC via bootcamp.. but of course cannot ask it.

Ok, so what exactly constitutes a "regular forum user"

I have one question I need to ask, I have no desire to be a forum "regular"

Just keep posting (without spam or flood) and eventually you will be "unlocked". This was done to prevent the action of bots, raging users and more.

While we are here, what you need?

You may be able to contact a moderator to get instant access, as it's apparent you're not a "threat".

Having the same problem. Pretty frustrating, as it doesn't seem to be explained in the FAQs. Having to troubleshoot the troubleshooting forum before I can ask about troubleshooting...

Perhaps take time to read the forum rules.

This is pretty lame, I came here to ask about optimization and I have to jump through loops...

I disagree, the forum rules are there for a reason. Please take time to read them.

This thread has run its course, if you have an issue with how the forum is, perhaps ask in the "Ask a moderator thread" or alternatively please contact a moderator.
