To my knowledge there won't be any dependency, CSLA to my memory never has had any.

Given the huge number of negative reviews on the previous CDLC, I think that the CSLA is likely to continue to be just a very high quality mod like the RHS and the like.

The creators of the Global Mobilization were disappointed because of the large number of negative reviews and will not even add new content. No fashion does not need such a black PR as being a paid mod

Hi, it's a brand new model made from scratch, like much of the vehicle and unit models in our MOD for ARMA3 😉

Hey folks.

Next batch of screens from Homeland locations.

We know that maybe there is not visible any huge difference for the first sight, but we are now polishing and upgrading a lot of small pins over the whole map.

all prepare for new CDLC guys?😅

For $20-25 it would be easily worth it to me. Just like I found GM to be well worth it despite what the naysayers had to say about it. With GM, 3CB Factions, CSLA and some more mods that are in the works, we could soon be in Cold War heaven. I for one am definitely ready to go back to the 80s! I truly wish that the OFP/Arma series had never left the era. IMO there were simply so many "what if" scenarios and conflicts to explore from the time period that it's a real shame that we ended up in 2035. And now we have friggin aliens too! What the hell is BIS thinking? Don't get me wrong, the Livonia terrain is a masterpiece but I've never touched the Contact campaign and doubt that I ever will. The terrain on the other hand is practically ideal for Cold War scenarios so it was mostly worth the purchase price as well. Bring on CSLA!

May I suggest something to the awesome CSLA mod? 😉

The T-72 should be renamed T-72M, besides not having side skirts, it should not have smoke granades dischargers at the turret front, and turret should be slightly different than on T-72M1 due to thinner armor.

T-72M1.

You can also notice than T-72M1 have a slightly thicker glacis plate, because it have additional 16mm steel plate welded on top of original armor.

Cheers. 😉

Hey there @Damian90

your're the first one to notice this. 🙂 Luckily, we know about this and it's only a mistake in screen labeling. With that I have to inform you that you are only partially correct regarding the tank's versions.  The naming corresponds with versions manufactured / operated in Czechoslovakia. The versions were as follows:

T-72 (early)

- no smoke discargers

- "no" side skirts and different type front mudguards

- weaker armor

- optical rangefinder TPD-2-49

- only 31 delivered directly from USSR in 1978

T-72

- laser rangefinder TPD-K-1

- rest is the same as the one before

- made in CSSR since 1981

- numbers produced vary greatly

T-72M

- smoke dischargers

- rubber sideskirts

- rubber fuel tank and toolbox protection

- weight +0.5t

- ammo increase from 39 to 44

- other minor improvements in manufacturing process and other

- about 251 producedin CSSR (incl. export) since 1985

T-72M1

- basically the same as above but...

- new cast turret with armor steel + ceramic materials inserts

- thicker (16mm) front glacis plate

- again, other improvements on suspension, engine compartment, driver hatch and some others.

- about 338 produced since 1986 (87 in service)

The M1 is actually the only one that comes close to T-72A produced and used in USSR.

And here is correct screen:

Ah I see, so CSLA naming convention was very similiar, if not the same to the LWP naming convention for these tanks. Thanks!

Damn can't wait for the mod to be released! Cheers!
