New Revive Animation with DLC?

Hi,

I just saw this picture posted on the Official Arma 3 website:

Do you think this revive animation will be added in the new DLC or updates?

Or is it already implemented?

Why should they post this pic if they don't put it in the game?

I also thought about new revive and healing functionality. Would be awesome!

To show that there are cinematic moments like that? That animation already exists in the game.

From the latest SITREP:

We've also seen discussions about the scope of gameplay changes based on what was seen in screenshots. Don't expect big core gameplay overhauls released alongside the campaign. As suggested by some of you, the campaign contains a few more 'staged' situations involving custom animation work.

Looks like I was right :)

It's probably just a cinematic thing.

All the cinematics are real-time so you could easily just make a script using said animation assuming it's included.

That is exactly what was done in A2 with it's modules and that IS why it was cut off.

Hum i don't understand the guys about this animation for medic.

I play since two months on a mod who had this animations ...

All animations were already in the game, use editor, place a unit, launch the party and press "Echap" and Animations after.

Ok, the animations for medic were little boring "when" we carry a guy, but the picture of the animation in this topic was not a "new" for me.

I hope also another animations :)

Yep, along with the drag and carry ones.

What I don't understad is why when a medic comes to heal you, the animation he plays is healing himself? Or why there is a "beep" sound involved? Leftovers from the ditched system?

you still don't understand? it's still beta dude. didn't you get the memo? ;) seems like all the medics will be junkies for the time being that give themselves the shot instead of the patient everytime when no one is looking ;)

it's best to not expect anything. let them complete the vehicles first so we have jets for each faction and can start to call this game someting like final. it seems to be a fragile construct over at BI. each new request could make the whole thing collapse it seems :p
