TheMightyMooseKing 10 Posted October 6, 2013 I just received and installed my TrackIR5 yesterday and I'm currently searching for some TrackIR profiles that work together with ArmA3, I've already googled it and found Dsylecxi's profile, however I believe that the download link is unfortunately broken and thus I'm wondering if anybody either had an "updated" link for Dsylecxi's profile or a link for a different TrackIR profile that works together with ArmA3. Answers are much appreciated :D

TheMightyMooseKing 10 Posted October 6, 2013 Thanks, I just put that into an .xml and select it in my TrackIR menu eh?
EO 11277 Posted October 6, 2013 Copy and paste into your profiles folder within your NaturalPoint/TrackIR folder, then select the profile when you open TrackIR. Hope this helps.
KevsNoTrev 44 Posted October 6, 2013 remember to set it as the profile for the game as well....

TheMightyMooseKing 10 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) Really? By default, my axis are reversed, I lean forward my guys pulls his head back, lean back my guy zooms in. You can disable and configure the different axis when you're configuring a profile, in your case you'd either have to reverse or disable the 'Z' axis. Also, I'm searching for some tips on where to locate the TrackClip pro on a Logitech G35, I just received the package with mine 30 minutes ago and I kinda noticed how looking down and left is impossible with it when the TrackClip is mounted directly above the left ear piece. KevsNoTrev 44 Posted October 7, 2013 I put mine here I have no issues with down and left. But I do have the 'camera' on the left side of center on my screen.
dale0404 5 Posted October 7, 2013 I use one of these with my G35:
TheMightyMooseKing 10 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) @KevsnoTrev Put mine at the exact same location, also I completely centered the middle LED with the TrackIR camera. (Display>Camera View in the TrackIR5 program) Could you mabe post a pic of your exact setup? @dale0404 Did you attach it to your headset or to a hat? PantherAl 11 Posted October 7, 2013 The weird thing is, is that I have better luck with the basic clip as shown in Dale's post, than the fancy powered pro version.

I haven't changed my axis out of sheer laziness right now. Our group is taking our time to move to Arma 3 (although we will be definitely moving over!!) so anytime playing the game is purely fun. As far as your problem of looking down and left, as Kev said, make sure your receiver (the camera piece) is mounted at one end of your monitor....worked for me :)

sberla101 50 Posted October 20, 2013 Sorry I don't quite understand what you are asking. sorry for my opprobrious english, I mean, how can I attach the track clip pro to the headphone?
KevsNoTrev 44 Posted October 22, 2013 I just put it on the little plastic bit above the left headphone. below the metal band, i had to put the clip on the smallest setting or it would keep falling off if i got over excited and flicked the mic out of my way. It should be pretty clear in my pic's(2 & 3) above.
fn_Quiksilver 1636 Posted October 22, 2013 I use the hat clip, and have the receiver on the top-right side of my monitor. It's there due to some glare and artifacts present when centered, due to bright lights across the room. Doesn't seem to affect performance. I don't have a headset so I don't use the fancy one. EDcase 87 Posted October 22, 2013 PM me with your email address and I'll send you my profile to get you started. You can edit it from there. (I set mine very sensitive) I use the standard metal clip attached with an elastic to the headband of my headphones. Works very well.
