Tacti-Cool 10 Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) This is a screenshot from Delta Force 2, released in 1999. It has a simple menu for putting a flag on the sleeve of the player, which could be seen in MP. If this was done, successfully, in 1999, why in 2013 are we having to edit items, make mods and writing configs, just so people other than Americans can have their countries flag on their sleeve/vest? http://imgur.com/ImXyvkX Edited September 29, 2013 by Tacti-Cool
spidypiet 17 Posted September 30, 2013 i know what you mean it was a nice feature then but recon its still a nice feature now not only to put on some flags ,lets think about squad or clan logo's
enforcer4100 10 Posted September 30, 2013 Isn't this already possible with the squad.xml?
Tacti-Cool 10 Posted September 30, 2013 Clan logos, yes they show up on vehicles, not uniforms, vests and they don't change country flags. As all of the BLUFOR have us flags on their sleeves by default, and still show up even with mods.
antoineflemming 14 Posted October 1, 2013 Isn't this already possible with the squad.xml? Right, having to put together a squad.xml, or simply having selectable flag patches in-game? I think I'd take the latter. But, Tacticool, you have to remember that playing as multiple nations isn't the focus of Arma 3. That's why it's not there. rye1 21 Posted October 1, 2013 Ah, NATO. Then SLAP an American flag over the top. I agree, Flag Patches all the way! You can do it with your .xml but then your .xml would have to be a flag and not your logo or anything else you want there.
