The 31st MEU is a Tactical, Authentic MilSim unit. With over 4 months spent completely on research and developement we take pride in saying our unit follows a very life-life style of structure, and command. We utilize ACRE currently, and upon release we will use ACE as mods to help bring a more serious feeling to the experience.

Our training is very different from most units, instead of the standard one hour training, and you're a full member our Recruit Pipeline takes place in two stages, the first part being the same for every recruit, no matter if they go JROTC, or full membership. It's the MCRT, or Marine Corp Recruit Training. This training takes place over the time of a month. Granted not every day of this month is training, so don't worry about that but we do actually train our recruits. Within our classes, and the design we've taken up to train our recruits, one of every two applicant's won't make it to graduation day. Sometimes due to simply to poorly skilled, but most of the times, it's simply due to attitude or character.

We're a mature unit, based around a community of mature generally older members. We expect everyone to show a mutual respect while in any of our servers, or our forums. For those of you looking to find something with a little less drama, and a little more tactics, you'll find it here.

Tonight the 31st is hosting an Official Patrol, for our members that offers a chance to gain a Promotion point, and a little tactical game time.

For those of you who aren't in a realism unit, the Command Staff has decided to open this to those interested in joining a MILSIM unit. The 31st will be starting the Patrol that should take 2-4 hours if things roll out smoothly, the start of our Patrol will be at 2100EST as an hour of prep time and strategy prep'. This is a time to get your load-out, and be placed to a unit as a reservist/volunteer. At 2200EST the operation begins and anyone late, or not ready after this hour of prep time is left to walk all the way towards the AO to regroup with the rest of us.

This Patrol is the third part to a multi-part campaign we've been in the process of designing as an event for our unit members. If you're looking for a generally impressive experience, an enjoyable group to practice authentic realism with, and a stable community built around a strong core of principles with a very dedicated command staff. The 31st MEU is the place to be.

We have over 20 people confirmed for this patrol, and it's not even crunch time yet, we're hoping to see quite a few interested parties with us tonight.

Those interested in joining, our next recruit training cycle starts on Oct 18th, be sure to give us a look over, and ask any questions you have. You won't wanna wait till November for the next two classes afterall.
