Hey guys!

I want to change the loadout of the independent units in the config (without a script)

In characters_f_beta.pbo (indep) is a config file, I changed for example arifle_Mk20_pointer_F to arifle_RHARD_MK18AFGD_F, but i get error messages like

No entry 'bin\config.bin/CFGVehicles/I_Soldier_su_pport_base_F.scope' and

Cannot open object a3\characters_f_beta\heads\classes\g_combat.p3d

When I try to spawn a unit in the editor, all independent infantry units are gone.

I hope someone can help me :o

There is no such weapon class "arifle_RHARD_MK18AFGD_F"

That rifle is part of an addon, so everyone would have to have that addon. Also, please tell me you're not trying to change rifles for default units by editing the core PBOs right? You're just using them as a learning tool to write your own addon?

Yes I am trying to make my own mod and I don't edit the original files I copied them before
