I put in STEAM Russian language in the settings, but the game itself is no choice of the Russian language. Language selection menu is locked and accessible only English language.

When you receive access to the localization of the regions ?

I've changed in italian and it works..

Right click on arma3 ( steam ) -> language -> select

First of all I disabled development build, selected language, verified cache... It doesnt helped!

After that I removed all content and redownloaded.

Game says that version is 1.00... I can join servers but no localization inside xml files!

I asked my mates who owns Standart edition to share with me their stringtable files... and discovered that localization is missing in Supporter Edition xml files!

Thats it.

good to have russian language at release. You have to use language changer for arma 2, since russian was locked in eu region.

Guys... Please think twice before post... You cant just change language in executable when content is absent!

BTW look at the arma 2 language changer's author..... just to avoid unnecessary questions...

UPDATE:

OK, small ArmA 3 update (~1,6Mb) just 5 minutes ago can solve this problem (at least stringtable.xml now seems valid).

Comrades BIS enter Russian language version of ARMA 3 Supporter Edition.

I can confirm that European languages are now working. But I had to change the language settings in steam to English and then back to my language. This forced a 5MB update to download.
