Looking forward to seeing these badboys getting UV'd and textured up :) Mind if I ask what the polycount for this one is and what texture resolution you'll want to use?

As high as possible/needed. I expect polycount to be around 11k for a weapons with attachments, with LODs at 66% and 33%

I'm texturing in 2048x2048 resolution since forever, this is what you can expect here too.

Most "problematic" part will be deciding what parts to group on texture sheets, so I don't end up with 250mb of texture data for single model, but I also need to make it efficient for customization, like changing stocks and handguards.

Oh dear, the attention to detail you give to modeling is super! It would be great if you decide to release a weapon working in-game to tease us all. Keep it up mate!

Wow i literally just started doing something very similar to this. But your so much between at me than modeling I feel uninspired. Lol. Guess it's time to watch a bunch of YouTube videos!

CalamityUSSOCOM, it's coming, I just have bunch of other stuff to do. I'll try posting some low poly models this week. I think I'll skip Squad support version for now.

Good now for everyone hoping to see WIP version of this: I will be definitely releasing a WIP once normals maps are baked. I'll make plain textures, focusing on material definition first.

In final release textures will have more definition and surface detail.
