M16a4 variants and more

Hello everyone.

I'm Simeon and i like to show you my first ever 3d models.

I got into modeling not so long ago and these are my first completed models except for a cd case like 3 years ago. :p

I am aware that they are not 100% accurate, but I like how they look as they are... perhaps the DMAG will get rework and half the other stuff but yea.

I will upload some pic's shortly.

I have what I believe to be a pertinent question: How will you implement the 45 degree cant iron sight functionality, seeing as currently sight switching is only "within" a hybrid optic?

Good question. I decided to make the default set up of that model to be with a 6x optic like this.

And the angled irons will be its back up sights. When you remove the 6x scope they will go with it... or ill make them stay i don't know yet.

Any ideas are welcome.

Really like it... impressive for your first model. Can we get a closeup render from the box/magazine area? Really looking forward to it!

Sorry, semester is starting so I will not be able to upload the new pic's. I have a lower poli model in-game with woking everithing: flip up sights, fire selector swich, bolt, muzzle flashes, hand anims.

Can someone point me in the direction of a good normal maping tuttorial btw?

Be back home in about 20 lets hope some new tools are out by then :).

I can't wait to get my hand's on these. Would be nice if Sabre would texture them for you.

QQ: Are you going to model your own suppressor? Mostly just curious as far as that carbine 416 in the corner goes.
