What size is your sat map?

If your height map is 2048x2048 with a cell size of 10 in TB. Then your sat map should be 20480x20480. So it's 1meter per pixel in game, at the moment your sat map is mega low res. Don't try up scaling what you have, as this will make it look worse! Either download a higher res image if you are using real terrain. Or if you are using L3DT free version, it caps at 2048. So sign up for the free 90 day trial of the pro version and then you can make a better image. But I think their shop is closed till 8th of Jan, so you might have to wait to fix the sat map till then. You could still be doing other stuff in mean time.

You don't have the object you are using, in your "Template Library". Terrain Builder doesn't tell you what one's you are missing. So use mine to see which one's you are missing:

Hey, what is the best Way to import a Satellite Image?. PNG, BMP or JPG?.

 

It takes ages to import a PNG & JPG.

 

BMP has no Alphachannel so....

It's in Terrain Builder on the left hand side, where you import the a3 (or mod) folders

yep! If you try to import an object, that is not in that list you will get that error message.

Okay how can I find out what's missing from the list and how adder I like it so?

I listed my one's, so you could try adding any of them you are missing. If you was using x-cam, that can help you track down missing objects

Right click> Create Library> tick both boxes. Then browse to the folder of your addons.

You have to use Terrain Builder, but you can also use x-cam to help with the placing of objects

Hello is there anyone who can help me with this problem after I transfer my map from XCAM to terain builder so I can see all the buildings but when I saw doing mapped to a PBO so I can only see anyone but see any buildings black in the terain builders map why are they?

I can't figure it out. I make my textures in L3DT, export them properly and import into Texture Builder, but its a black screen... help?

Is it normal with Terra Incognita, when you have your zone marked (Mine = 1024km x 1024km, that it will generate about over 12100 files ?

 

I did the whole thing with set height of 100 = 1m/px zoomed in.

With a size of 1346464 x 1350045 px, how in the heck would i import that to qgis as 1 whole confused.

I am looking for Terrain Builder tutorial video i have the ones by CAPTNCAPS on youtube but he goes to fast and does not noob level his info like what keys he is using.

Don't follow them youtube one's, he gets loads wrong! Follow the pmc wiki tutorials in my sig
