Why is the shotgun an issue, what does it matter, your not going to be shooting at the ground when enemy is near, or when enemy is attacking

you and your shooting back at them, your problem can be solved just by not shooting at the ground.

Why are you shooting at the ground to begin with, so what you get injured and or killed, so dont shoot at the ground problem solved.

How about we focus on the beauty of what this pack has to offer, and possibly think of some other guns that could be added like the Scars weapons,

more pistol variants, how about the Javalin, I'd like to see that in Arma3, i always used that, like to see a direct attack and top attack feature on that, would be awesome.

Pretty sure that issue also affects the damage the enemy takes. Besides, the issue being uncommon is a bad excuse not to fix the issue.

Cheers for the mod. Just wondering: is there any plan to add weights to the weapons at all? Seems a bit silly that a weapon weighs no more than the magazine loaded in it compared to 'stock' weapons in game that have a realistic weight value.

Why are you getting so defensive? Your tone from the start has been as such and I have no idea why. I even prefaced my initial comment saying that the mod was awesome.

I am only reporting what I believe to be some sort of bug. I figured massi might want to know if this is indeed unexpected behavior. If it's not a bug, fine, but I have not heard anything yet one way or the other, and frankly it does not make sense realistically, so I can only assume it is a bug.

I am not ripping on the pack...frankly, the pack is awesome and I look forward to using it more in missions. I am just trying to report issues where and if they arise to help out the developer.

I guess you are coming across as making a big deal out of something that isn't at least to me, but as you had posted its either an issue with the shotgun, or how the game

handles rds towards one's feet, a suggestion would to test other weapons maybe an mg to see if a similar effect happens as mg you can shoot many rounds.

I use the pack in all my missions, and when a mission has VAS in it you can use the weapons from the pack even though the weapons aren't in an

ammo box from the pack in the mission, just load your game with the pack and if you had establish profiles previously with VAS while the weapon pack was

in the mission, your profile is saved and you can load the same profiles, adn see the weapons listed, i love it.

It's still a bug and he is right to report it. He's not being aggressive about it. It doesn't matter whether or not it's likely to happen, it shouldn't happen, therefore it's a bug and should be reported, end of story.

I wasn't trying to harp on the shotgun, it was just one of the first weapons I tried that I noticed this issue with, and I was trying to be thorough with evidence so that it could be verified as a bug and not something wrong with my setup. As you can see from the video, the slugs do not exhibit this behavior, and so far I have not seen the same behavior in any other weapon in the pack. I am guessing it is just a configuration issue like CameronMcDonald stated, but I wanted to make massi aware of it.

I didn't see any sort of feedback bug tracker listed in the OP, so I figured this thread would be where this type of thing goes.

Anyway, until massi says something we can all go on with our lives. :)

Great job with the mod, unfortunate I cannot use it because it and the many other mods I use are making the loading time on the VAS too long, so it frequently glitches out (Skipping to the bottom of the item list, making guns and backpacks load together in the same list, and etc.). I am going to recommend removing the attachment variants to make loading faster. But I understand why they are in there, to make the classes for your other packs easier to create. And it seams this mod is pretty polished so you may not feel like updating it.

That's just my opinion on the mod great job :D

P.S. I am not too familiar with modding weapon stuff, so if anyone knows how I can remove some of the parts of the mod out (i.e. attachment variants - e.g. HK416 RCO) of the pack that would be cool, if it is allowed and if you can tell me how to do it myself.)

Thanks for this mod, we have recently added all you addons to the Comrades in Arms server and it feels much better playing with contemporary hardware.

One issue I noticed with the Russian weapons and a search in this thread shows that no one has raised it before. It seems like the Russian weapons are scaled wrong, all of them look too small in relation to the human avatars in the game. Did anyone else noticed that?

I was bored this morning so I fixed all the delineation problems with the "remove variants from VAS" entry found on page 37. If you want to remove all of the different-attachement-versions from the VAS add this to line 89 in your config.sqf of VAS. Thanks to stoffl for supplying the original. This should work with no problems:

And according to stoffl this one should remove all non-NATO weapons, including BIS':

Hi maverick , you should disable the requirement of the Nato sf and russian weapons for activating the @mas_usa_devg mod of the gear , it is so frustrating to disable the nato mod and still having it blowing my ammo box , and i don't know why because i have friends that disabled it and don't have it in the ammobox activated , but me even without it activated , loads as well.

this is in the majority because the weapons look bad and don't work properly, for example if you get an hk4 , zero the 40mm launcher to 300m and shoot to a target that is exactly 300m , the 40mm wont hit the target...

all of this appart of the looking of the weapons...

btw i like the @mas_usa_devg.. that was a great job.

One of the reason we stopped using this, is the ammo is imbalanced (in weight) compared to vanilla ammo. When those things are brought more inline then we are eager to go back.

My clan is using this weapons and items mod, and its really clogging our VAS.

I've tried using the limiting on the weapons, but I am only able to limit the vanilla weapons. Do you know a way to also remove this mods weapons in the VAS? Not all, but all the variations of the different ones.

Think that is more of a vas issue then a weapon pack as vas seems to load everything dealing with weapon packs, and other things related.

Suggest just making multiple loadouts for what you do.

Well, we are using premade loadouts, but the issue is that these take ages to load. I tried using VAS's built in function, but no dice! :(
