ArmyRanger 10 Posted August 3, 2013 Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me with my little dilemma here. I bought the Arma 3 supporter edition the moment it came out and shortly after I got the FBI ransome ware virus. So after that happened I got my computer fixed a few months later and I went on to Steam and everything was there except for Arma 3 Alpha supporter edition. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do to recover my game and I already tried going to my games and tried to re-download it and nothing worked it was telling me to get steam not to download it. If anyone doesn't have any ideas I could use I was going to write in this post if anyone has a copy of the game or has a code key I can use I can certainly pay for it. But that is my last option I've tried e-mailing Bohemia Interactive themselves and they didn't really help much. Again thanks to anyone who can help with my dilemma. kylania 567 Posted August 3, 2013 If you'd activated it on Steam ArmA3 Beta (You won't see Alpha anymore, it'll be Beta) should already be in your Games Library. The extra games, ArmAX and CWA should be in your Steam Inventory unless you've already traded or activated those. The other features like guide and maps aren't released yet. If you're not seeing that make sure you're logging into Steam with the proper account and if not contact Steam to see what you can do. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He has the Supporter Edition which can not be purchased anywhere else except the BIS store but must be activated in the steam client. @ArmyRanger, do you have Arma 3 Supporter Edition showing as below in your Steam Account Details under Licenses + Subscriptions? If it's not showing, are you sure you are logging in the account you activated it? Can you try to reactivate the serial? Is it coming as a duplicate one? If it's showing, do you have "all games" selected as your game list? Can you post your steam page so we can see if it's in your game list or your play time? Alright thank you to kylania for the insight for clearing most of it up. Quick question is there anyway I can alteast recover my Arma 3 alpha in anyway? Cause I did try to put in my code keys and nothing worked. It just says download the Arma 3 alpha beta. So if anyone can help me with that it would be much appreciated. Also when is the full game release date after the beta? Because I miss the full game played for a month or 2 and then I got that piece of shit FBI virus (Spyware virus). Progamer to answer your question bud I was downloading a modding program and it popped up saying I was accessing child pornography. B.S. I didn't know downloading a modding program for Arma 3 Alpha to get guns and other stuff was porn. Also thank you Dale 0404 yes I tried that and TonyGrunt's response is correct they said that they cant do anything and that I have to contact my game provider. Also I contacted Bohemia as said before in my last post and they gave me an automated email response saying that they were sorry for the inconvience and told me to try some of there step by step instructions and it didn't help. Also they gave me a waiting ticket my number is 59,681. So yeah also to answer TonyGrunt I do have Arma 3 Alpha Supporter Edition showing below in my Steam Account Details under licenses and subscriptions. kylania 567 Posted August 4, 2013 There is no such product as "Arma 3 Alpha" anymore. It's now "Arma 3 Beta". The old game was removed and replaced when Beta came along, just as Beta will be removed and replaced by "Arma 3" when it's released. They aren't separate games, instead different phases of the same product. So under your Library list you should see "Arma 3 Beta", do you? If so that's what you'll want to install and play. :) The full version of the game should be released around Sept - Oct of this year or so I imagine. That's what they are aiming for at least. Steam will "remove" Beta and replace it with "Arma 3" automatically for you. Personally I'd suggest at that point removing the game and all files (your profile and whatnot) and starting from scratch though.
