Weapon cursor always visible on server

Hi all,

Just a quick question, when I play any mission on my server, the weapon cursor is always visible. It is visible on whatever difficulty setting I choose. On Veteran or Elite 3rd person is disabled but the weapon cursor isn't.

I have disabled the weapon cursor in arma3profile etc and I am using the correct command line to enable the profile but it still shows. Is this just because of the beta or something else?

I have touched on this in another thread but didn't want to de-rail that thread.

Either you are not enabling the correct profile or you are not modifying the correct one (pretty much the same thing). Try find which profile is actually running by comparing the difficulty features in-game (ex: have 3rd person or not, have crosshair or not) with the ones set in the profile on the different difficulty levels (recruit/regular/veteran/elite).

I am having the same problem and I suspect the issue is settings within the mission file, unless I edited the server cfg file wrong, I added an entry under //in game settings - is this correct ?

Could someone please post an actual example of the server cfg difficulty settings, I have searched this and found nothing except examples for older ARMA games.

Thanks, I didn't realize it was the same as OA, the file I needed to use was defaultserver.profile.
