When will this game be released?

Hello, i just watched the E3 video of this game, and it looks awesome! Good job devs!

After whatching the video, i went to google, to search release date. And this confused me a lot.

The video said, it will be released at end of august.

This site, says that game will be released Q3 of 2013. http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=8095&game=Take%20On%20Mars

So, what is the real release date? Or what you devs aim for?

As stated my Dram, the project lead on TOM, it will be released at the end of this month :)

As mentioned in the thread, it can be preordered now at the BI Store, then about a week before release it'll become available for preorder at the Steam Storefront. It is a Steamworks game... so preorder from the BI Store, you get a forums badge and more money in BI's pocket. :D

Dram didn't specify, but he mentioned that there will be at least one piece of free DLC in the form of Deimos (Phobos isn't planned), though the release method he described suggests otherwise, since Arma 3 was more of a game release (that's explicitly declared WIP) than a pre-order as this is. (Steam handles pre-orders differently from Early Access Games.)

You can pre-order it off the site and they will email you the Steam key. But yeah you can't pre-order off steam because early access games can't be pre-ordered.
