You're doing some great work TxT - you'd be freaking awesome if you'd do a SOC Mark V next.

have you concidered making a bigger part of the ship below sea level? It's not like Arma 2 anymore where you would see the water rise in your screen when in a (part of a) boat underwater.

Don't worry about that.

In Arma 3 it is just a matter of putting

waterPPInVehicle = 0;

in the config.cpp

Voila and no water in the cargo space. Just tried it this morning with the Todaro class submarine of the progetto flotta.

Now, for the LCS. It is a beautiful ship. I find the LCS 2 indy much more beautiful but the Freedom is also OK. Remember that for the time being you cannot use the shipX class simulation, only the normal class ship. For the shipX you need to add another LOD in the P3d.

Keep up the good work!!!!

OMG. Me wants, me wants!!!!!

Now, seriously. What method are you using for correctly set the flotation line? Landcontact points or GEO LOD?

Both have some issues. Anyway, it looks wonderful!!!

lol Armaholic labeled this a "fictitious destroyer" on their Week report.

Progress is coming along very nicely, it look really good.

Do you plan on doing other ships after finishing the LCS-1? Zumwalt destroyer maybe?

Me, I'm doing an Indy class LCS, but my modelling skills are not on your league. And I must say that the trimaran hull of the independence is a PITA to model.

I'm eager to try that beautiful ship!!!!

Looking amazing. I would love to use this as the base of operations for some missions in the future. I hope you will make the gun available as a support so you can call in strikes similar to the mortar artillery module.

All the weapons on board will be available.

Artillery module i haven't tested out yet with this ship but i know it works.

Will each weapon act as an individual entity?

The official brochure from General Dynamics mentions four .50 caliber MGs total, two fore (port/starboard) and two aft (port/starboard), plus the 57 mm gun (MK 110, a slightly modified Bofors 57 mm Mk 3) up front and a SeaRAM system above the hangar, plus a decoy launcher at port and starboard approximately amidships.

If using the Surface Warfare Mission Package (SUW MP) and the Gun Mission Module (EX 50 MOD 2 GMM) then throw in (a pair of?) turrets each with a 30 mm autocannon (400 rounds of 30 x 173 mm in the turret plus two "ready service" magazines with 240 rounds each, fired at a rate of 200 rpm in single-round, five-round burst or full auto), the turret systems including a FLIR sensor, a low-light TV camera and a laser rangefinder.
